So handy
It's tiny but accurate.

It’s cheap!
Outer case was broken when I received it. Harder to operate than others I have tried in the past. Taped the case together where the two halves connect. If it worked better I’d be okay with it but it is finicky with multiple pushes of the button to get it to work. It WAS cheap though.🤨

Quick and handy
Unfortunately I had to send the first one back but the replacement came and I plugged it in and left it there for a couple hours. Works exactly as it should and the instructions are precise in guiding you how to use and change modes. I used it to measure the distance between rafters in my barn for pre-drilling holes in the sheet metal I hang for the ceiling. I checked it versus a tape measure across multiple distances and it was spot on. Honestly, for the money this is an awesome device. CHARGE IT BEFORE USING!The first one I received was completely dead and needed to be charged. The instructions do not state to fully charge the device before using or at least that is what I'm attributing to why it failed. Impatient in wanting to use it for a project I only charged it a little bit and while on the charger it would measure correctly but the button sequences to change the unit of measurement would not work and it would sometimes change between feet and meters. When I took it off the charger it would only display "ERROR". I contacted the company and they replied promptly saying to return it through Amazon and I would receive a replacement.

Slightly better than a toy
A laser measuring device... nice to have in a tool box. This has a use, with some serious limitations.Good:• Seems to be accurate and repeatable, within its limitations (see below). In my house, I clamped it to a post and got repeated measurements to a wall ~28' away, +/- 0.01".• The USB charging port is covered.• Small.• Back-lit display.• Holes for a lanyard.• I am not sure of battery life. But I have tested it for some time and it's still on "full".Arguable:• If the target is in the sun, forget it. If you can't see the laser, it will not work -- which is best -- or it will give you wildly inaccurate measurements -- which is worse. Even if you CAN see the dot, outdoors, it may still be amiss. Roll the dice. I tried to take measurements to an outbuilding 40-some feet away, clamping the laser to a handrail (no shaking). Sunny was 2' - 15'; cloudy -- I could see the dot -- was 25' - 45'. Meh. Indoor use only?• Crazy operations, trying to figure out how long to push the one button, in what sequence. Read the manual and commit it to heart.• English measurements in decimals? OK, that may be unfair, but what is 4.39' on your ruler? Stick with Metric.• It always boots to measurement from the back side. That "push the button for three seconds to change the datum point" gets to be old. May be useful because you tend to put it against a wall?• I dropped it 3' to concrete while taking my out-building measurements. The front green plastic cover came off. No harm otherwise.• USB Micro B. I prefer Type C, 3.0.For $13, it might come in handy, sometimes, in some locations. I suppose you would know when it is really wrong. I hope. But depending on it for actual structural needs? To 132'? Nope.

USB charging, super simple to use, very compact
I really like that this mini measuring tool has a built in rechargeable battery. It confused me at first because it wouldn't turn on. After charging it for an hour, it turned on and works great. The LCD has a backlight and is easy to read indoors. There is a hole in the bottom left corner to attach a lanyard, which I don't think is included. Overall it's a nice little unit. This little tool is accurate and I've been using it a lot to measure distances. It's so much more compact and simpler than the usual larger tools and the quality is really nice. One button does it all, which gives it a slight learning curve but if you want to measure from the back of the unit and use feet instead of metric, it's ready to go out of the package. To switch units, you first have to enter the "correction mode" by long pressing for 5 seconds when the power is off, then press for 2 seconds to choose between inches, fractional feet, inches and feet, and metric. Not intuitive but once you do it one time, it's easy to remember. To change the settings you have to hold down the button. By holding it down for different lengths of time, you can set it to measure from the front of the unit or the back, and change the units. Annoyingly, you have to press the button for 6 seconds to turn it off, but thankfully it turns off by itself if you don't use it for 45 seconds Measuring range is over 120 feet and I did a few tests comparing with a tape measure and it's very accurate, even at 20 feet. If you are using this for exact measurements, it could be off by 1/4 inch or so on longer distances, but there is a way to calibrate the laser. The instruction manual is pretty good at explaining all the features and settings and overall I'm very happy with this mini measuring tool. I have a larger tool that can do more geometry and calculations but most of the time I just need a simple tool that tells me how far away something is.

Not very user friendly
Device still requires the user to do basic math in order to use the tool !

Small, convenient measure tool.
Got this because of it's size. It's quite small. I reduced the star rating one, because the accuracy isn't right on. I didn't really expect it to be perfect, but adjusting this has been difficult. There is a way, you can change it in MM mode , but I've not had much luck. It's not that far off.I just use for quick measures anyway.
