Powerful and Reliable Water Pump for Various Applications
I recently purchased the TIGEROAR 12V DC Submersible Water Pump, and overall, I am quite satisfied with its performance and versatility. This pump has proven to be a valuable addition to my equipment arsenal, particularly for various water transfer tasks.First and foremost, the pump's power and capacity are impressive. With a flow rate of 1500 GPH (Gallons Per Hour), it efficiently moves water and delivers quick results. I've used it for draining my swimming pool, transferring water from one container to another, and even for emergency flood situations, and it has handled these tasks admirably. The 20 ft. cord is a practical feature that enhances its usability. It allows me to submerge the pump into deep water sources without worrying about the length of the power cord. This feature has proved handy when draining water from remote locations or deep wells.Another positive aspect of this pump is its submersible design. The pump has operated flawlessly while completely submerged, without any leaks or issues. It is well-built and feels durable, which gives me confidence in its longevity and reliability.I also appreciate the pump's 12V DC power requirement. It makes it suitable for use with a car battery or any 12V power source, providing flexibility in various situations where a standard AC power outlet might not be readily available. However, the reason for deducting one star from the rating is the noise level. While the pump's performance is excellent, it does produce a noticeable amount of noise when in operation. This might not be a significant concern for outdoor or industrial use, but for indoor use or situations requiring a quieter environment, the noise level can be a bit distracting.Furthermore, it would be helpful if the pump came with more comprehensive user instructions. As a first-time user of a submersible water pump, I had to do some additional research to ensure I was using it correctly and maintaining it appropriately. Clear and detailed instructions would be beneficial, especially for those who are new to using such equipment. In conclusion, the TIGEROAR 12V DC Submersible Water Pump is a powerful and reliable tool for various water transfer tasks. Its impressive flow rate, submersible design, and long cord make it a practical choice for many applications. While the noise level and lack of detailed instructions were minor drawbacks, the overall performance and functionality of this pump have met my expectations. I would recommend it to anyone in need of a sturdy and efficient water transfer pump.

Great Pump So Far
I can't speak to the nay sayers rating this product, but mine kicked butt...yes, you do have to prime it...no big deal...but, it emptied a 280 gallon Spa in around an hour...and it would have done even better, but I used an old garden hose to the drain and the pump suction was so intense that it flattened the hose in places, which restricted the overall water flow...I am planning to use more rigid hose next time and I feel pretty confident that this pump will do even better. I can't rate the longevity yet, but, so far, overall 5 stars. One quick note...the pump has two male garden hose style fittings on it...so be prepared with a female to female adapter (I made mine out of some old copper fittings...three inch pipe and two threaded fittings...no worries). Unless it conks out next time, I'd buy this again.

Used only once and suction well...sucks
Used it to drain a pool due to bad weather. Worked like a champ for the first time, solid water flow, no issue. Took it out again due to more bad weather 2 weeks later, rust on the seal where you put in water, no problems I thought. Fired it up to drain the pool, no suction what so ever. Tried 4 hoses, chopped them to reduce the possibility ofthere being a kink or break in the line, nothing. used a 3' hose still nothing. Tried emailing for support since I'm out of warranty, no useful response besides the same troubleshooting steps I've done already. Ripped out this pump roaring like a tiger in a fury because of the absolute garbage quality and jury rigged the hoses to start draining the pool.I now have a 'cast iron' paperweight that's going to be used for target practice as that's all it's good for. Spend more, get a quality pump and save yourself the headache when an emergency arises.

Leaves a good inch of water.
I wanted to get most of the water out of the boat for winter, I leave it above water in a covered dock on a lift. I really wanted it dry in case it freezes. Do not want to have to replace the boats water pump. I ended up using boat water pump because if was faster and pumped more out. I guess pump worked OK but just not enough pressure to drain it dry. I guess I will use my industrial wet vacuum to get all water out.

Wow, what a good pump!
I initially purchased this to transfer water from a barrel into my camper when I leave it in place during hunting season.I ended up using it for work, I am a marine tech and used this pump to pump anti freeze into boat engine pick ups. I literally used this pump to winterize over 150 boats without issue. I am still on the original impeller and it comes with a spare. It does need to be primed and air leaks will cause it to fail. A bit of plumbers tape goes a long way with this little pump. Normally we use the $200 plus pressure pumps to winterize and we normally go though two at least in a season. This thing for a fraction of the price is still pumping strong. Also we did not have to charge the 12v battery anywhere near as much, pulls very little power. Great little pump, will last a life time.
