USB 3.0 HDMI game capture card
So the description states this is a:-USB 3.0 HDMI game capture card, full HD 4K 30FPS video to live streaming recorder device, drive-free compatible with Linux/Mac OS/Windows 10/7/XP…I must admit I am not really that technical minded. But I know it works, even tho I had to Google what it actually does. Also how easy it was to do.* Connect the HD Capture Box to your video source.* Plug in a USB flash drive or USB hard drive, and press "Record"* The HD Capture Box can record and saves your recordings in MP4 video format. You don't need a external power supply. We were able to save videos from the old camcorder I found in our attic and now have them saved digitally and able to send to the family. Can't believe this little thing does such good work.If I wanted to watch the same time, We used a 4k hdmi splitter. Also the kids have plugged it into there PlayStation and switch. Turns there games into like mini movies. So far so good. But I will update this review if needed.*** Size:-* 92mm length* 42mm width* 13.3mm depth*** UP to 4K HDMI video capture card resolution up to 4K 30Hz.*** USB 3.0 Port:-* High speed USB 3.0,* It can capture one signal channel HD HDMI video signal.* Convert HDMI signals to USB 3.0,* Streaming to Facebook, Twitch, YouTube, dailyMotion, Hitbox etc...* Hardware interface:- USB, HDMI* Operating system:- Android 9 or later, Mac OS 10.12 or later, Linux, Windows 7, 8, 10.* Video standard:- NV12, YUY2, XRGB, RGB32.* Minimum system requirements:- Windows 7, 8, 10, Mac OS 10.12 or later, Linux, Android 9 or later*** 18-year warranty.

Disappointing Failure
This USB 3.0 Video Capture device arrives in a nice looking box which contains the device itself, a HDMI cable, USB 3.0 cable and instruction manual. The device has a black metal frame and black plastic top and bottom. It measures 9cm by 4cm and is 1.2cm deep. At one end is the USB 3.0 port, and the other the HDMI port. On the top are two LED indicators, one for power and one for transmission. The device requires no external power or batteries. The USB 3.0 cable is 53cm long and the HDMI cable 1.43mThe manual is basic and the English used is poor but understandable. For PC users it explains how to use the device with OBS and for Mac users it explains how to use it with both OBS and QuickTime, although it should be noted that Quicktime stopped being supported on the Mac in 2018.In use it failed miserably. I tried to get it to work on both my desktop PC and my laptop. Both run Windows 10 and are above the minimum specifications needed for this device. I tried it using both the cables supplied and my own. However in all instances, although both LED lights were on and Windows 10 showed the device as being connected in the “USB & Other Devices” Settings page, OSB could not find it. Nor did any other capture software that I tried to use.As a result, I am unable to recommend this device to anyone.[Amazon asked me to review this product and to give my honest opinion about it. Supports OSSC 5x - very good for retro gaming with some quirks
I stream and record retro games - my main capture card is an Elgato HD60 S which gets the job done... most of the time. It does have difficulty with some games though - especially 240p content over component going through either an OSSC or GBS Control. When I saw this card for around £50, I thought it was worth a go as a backup card. I must say I am VERY surprised. OSSC generic scaling works from 2x-5x which is very impressive. Oddly enough, optimised timings seem to only work on 3x and 5x modes which is strange. As the card doesn't have 960p as a resolution, content will be either up or downscaled to fit a 1080p/720p canvas. Compared to my Elgato HD60 S, it looks like a very small amount of sharpening has been applied but it's not very noticeable. This scaling seems to have an impact by way of stuttering on the NV12 video format but not the YUY2 format (which should be the better format anyway, being 4:2:2).I've not actually tried bog-standard 1080p 60fps next-gen consoles like the Switch but I can imagine if it handles the very quirky OSSC, it'll handle most consoles.I think this card sits in a very nice price range between the mono-audio bugged MJPEG Chinese capture cards and the big brands like AVerMedia and Elgato.

Difficult to set up
Tried to set this up for a variety on sources and I had difficulty in virtually everything I tried.Got the impression this is a lot low quality than the price would suggest. From software to hardware I was not very happy with performance of adaptability.I gave up after an hour and I didn’t like this. In Amazon terms not likeing something is a 2 star review.
