Just bought it for my collection, because already have it on WiiU, and on WiiU is better version because of platform. Also have maker2 for the switch

100 all new Nintendo-made Mario levels. No side scrolling Mario game has ever had more levels packed in with the game! Just think about that for a minute before comparing how inferior this version is from the Wii U version. Yes, it would have been nice to be able to upload the levels you make online. With a handheld, it is a fun feature to be able to share the levels with people locally. Very creative, and the new "medals" feature is a nice touch! For example, one of the ways to get a medal is to "finish the course by collecting all 100 coins" or "finish the course as Weird Mario", or "finish the course by only defeating the goombas". 5 out of 5 stars, fantastic!

Just beat the last world in the Mario challenge to unlock all the items! Overall I think this is a great game. However, not all of the perks are there like the Wii U version.Pros:*You have to play through levels to unlock items.*Levels have added challenges for extra difficulty but are not required. However completing challenges unlocks more worlds.*You can download and play levels created from the Wii U versionCons:*You can't use amiibos*You can't upload your own levels via internet, instead you have to use street pass or download with friends who have the game.Overall it gives you endless mario levels to explore and create. Glad Nintendo made this for the 3DS

Fantastic, people are forgetting that the core of this game is creating levels... Not sharing them!
I create these levels for me, yeah it's cool to share them with other people, but i get most of my satisfaction from creating the levels I like. If you really have no one to share it with... Then find someone and convince them to play it! Just hand them your 3DS.. Simple as that!This game is endless, unlike 99% of games you buy. This is just fantastic, let your imagination run wild. $39.99 (Or $31.99 if you're a prime member...) is a steal price for a creative game like this. If you're a creative person, i strongly urge you to get this game! TONS of fun on the go and at home!
