S&B Japan Japanese mustard paste 300g

I bought this because it's a squeeze bottle of hot oriental mustard at a reasonable price.I don't like using a fork or spoon to try to apply mustard from a jar to fried rice, pepper steak and onion, Rice-Roni, etc. and getting little bits stuck on the utensil when I went back to the jar for more.It tastes and squeezes great, though a slightly big 1/4" diameter mustard paste comes out when you squeeze, so just don't squeeze too hard!I worried a little bit about the high heat many reviewers reported, but it was fine. A little hotter than those packets of mustard but not too hot - I'm not a fan of high heat.I ordered this March 11, 25 received it 2 days later, and it has a Best Used By date of August 2025. Being prepared mustard, I sure it's good much longer as long as its refrigerated.

It is quite spicy but tastes good and should be used sparingly for flavor. A small dollop is enough to give flavor for a serving of homemade Okonomiyaki depending on size and spice sensitivity.

This stuff helps me eat canned fish. I don't like the taste of canned fish, but with this, I can get it down.

This is one of the best Asian mustards that you can buy. Just don’t put too much or you will regret it.

wit Oden is perfect!! Also i add Japanese Mayo Kewpie Make Karashi-Mayo it goes with Sandwiches PotatoSalad etc Very delicious!!

I did not know that there’s a bottle size mustard. This is a value pack. I use karashi mustard for potato salad and sandwiches (karashi butter) a lot.

Tastes fine but it expires on May 3d of 2023 which is only a little over two months from now and of course they don't accept returns.

I am so glad I can buy this mustard on Amazon, there is nothing hotter.Use with Pork and Chicken Katsu and ShuMai dumplings. S&B Japanese Mustard is delicious.This is the mustard served in traditional Japanese Restaurants.You only need a small amount, a little bit goes a long way.Very Happy. Thank you!
