After being diagnosed with Lupus and being extremely sun sensitive, I scoured the internet for all things sun protection and came across these. After trying I have nothing, but positive things to say - I LOVE them! The adhesive is non irritating (I have very sensitive skin) and can stand the test of sweat and extended periods of time. It perfectly protects my most vulnerable areas and I don’t have to stress about reapplying or pretty much any sun damage occurring. I have worn them on runs, hikes, the beach and have come away perfectly protected after many hours of sun exposure! They also are reusable and durable. Initially, I was a little hesitant to wear in public, but have received nothing but compliments and “where can I get some” remarks. Absolutely love this product and couldn’t recommend more!

I am always on the lookout for non-chemical sun protection. My youngest daughter has eczema and the lotion used to help her skin makes her sensitive to the sun. When I saw these Under Eye Ultraviolet Protection UPF 50 - Sun Screen Silicone Patches For UV Protection, I was very intrigued.She felt the silicone strip was comfortable, and it held firmly in place while she moved around. Because of her small stature, the strip covers a good portion of her face- exactly where the sun would hit first!I do think that this is definitely something for beach wear, not necessarily an everyday outdoor sort of thing because of the bright colors. AllThere are 8 patches that come in the set and the sticky portion seems pretty easy to clean and to reuse.I would use these to lock in beauty products or keep in the fridge for puffy eyes. These are a great resuable product with multiple applications.

Doesn’t stay on well

Living in South Florida, I'm always looking for innovative sun protection products. When I saw this I immediately purchased it. So glad I did. It's fun and effective. My grand-kids love it. They think the pink color is cool. It's easy to put on and take off. Doesn't hurt or pull on your skin at all and it stays on a long time. Love it!

I bought 2 packs (nude & pink) and so badly wanted them to be our under eye sunburn solution! First we tried them at the pool. I had issues with mine due to how my sunglasses sat on them and ended up removing them about 10 minutes in & using sunblock instead. I had put them on 3 of my kids before the pool. The edges rolled on my 3 year old & we couldn’t get them to stay down so he pulled them off before swimming. My 5 & 7 year old got ripples/lifting around the edges, especially near the nose/cheek which bothered them. They put on goggles to swim & the patches caused the goggles to leak so they also pulled them off soon after getting in the water. Day one success= 0/4We tried again for the water park. I placed mine with sunglasses in mind & was able to wear them all day without getting burned. When I removed them the skin underneath was funny from being trapped all day without air (kind of moist, huge swollen looking pores, and a few tiny pimples). I’m glad we were headed home and I did not have to go anywhere with my face looking funny for over an hour. As for my kids… zero out of 3 kids got wet wearing the patches. We again had rolling, rippling, & lifting and the kids just couldn’t leave them alone & keep them on. Day 2 success= 1/4* but skin although not burned didn’t look good afterwards. I won’t try them on my kids again. I might try them again myself for an hour or 2 max but if I had it to do over again I’d rather have my $52 in my pocket!

I love the idea of these in theory. You are supposed to wear them on clean skin which makes putting sunscreen on the rest of your face nearly impossible unless you don't mind sunscreen all over the silicone patches. There are no instructions on how to clean the patches or why you can use them for only 4 uses. Is it because it loses it's sunscreen effectiveness or is it because the patch loses its adhesion? I found that mine would continue to stick for more than 4 uses. However, if you sweat a lot, they slide all over the place even if brand new which defeats the purpose. The also wrinkle over the cheek bones letting sun in which conceivably would diminish the sunblocking. I have a small face and found the patches to be smaller than I wanted. I think they worked and I didn't have any weird tan lines so obviously it wasnt any better or worsw than the sunscreen on the rest of my face. Overall, a great idea that doesn't quite live up to its promise.

I bought these for my 5yo daughter because she burns so easily. These worked great. Her face is small so there was some overlap over her nose but I actually found that beneficial because it gave her extra protection. I've been able to re-use the same one multiple times and it's had the same stickiness. I've put sunscreen on AFTER putting these on so the sticky back wouldn't get greasy.

I saw a blogger who wore it while she was driving. I thought it is a clever idea! I use it everyday now. Because I don’t like to put sunblocks on my face and later I have to use make up remover. However, with this pads I found that it left some “temporary wrinkles” on my cheeks. It went away quickly, it looks like after long time wearing it, your skin get moisturized. It is reusable. I’ve been reusing it for many times.
