I have gray and brown flecked hair. I ended up with extreme carrot red and had to do again, and added indigo. Worked out after ward. My hairdresser said I must wait for my hair to grow out because mixing other dyes with this will send my hair into a frenzy. I presume, this is a stand reaction. I just wasn't prepared for the outcome. TEST SAMPLE that the company recommended on the packaging is definitely a serious suggestion.

Can be messy
I made some chamomile lavender tea, added some honey, to help smell and it holds in moisture, stirred in henna, followed directions. Hair had a nice golden color but a bit dry, next time gonna try adding to my conditioner.
