I purchased this unflavored whey protein, just looking for something to use in some of my low-carb baking recipes. I wasn’t actually expecting it to be good in a smoothie, but I was completely shocked when I made one a few days after I purchased the bag.I typically purchase Quest protein whey powder, but I’ve been on a budget the last several months and just needed something a little cheaper and in a smaller quantity. This protein functions every bit as good as Quest, and there is absolutely no grit or offputting flavor when used in a smoothie. In fact, it made the creamiest and most voluminous protein shake I’ve probably ever had.Will def be purchasing again!

Three star means average. Have yet to find a protein powder which mixes. Greek yogurt becomes a thick pile, difficult to combine without powder all over countertop. Dissolve in hot water? No. Lumps is what you get. Unflavored? I hate to taste the flavored stuff because my berry greek yogurt is now quazi-berry not so wonderful. Let's say it, it's obvious I combined something and now it doesn't good. In the end, it's protein powder, and probably is what they say it is. But it's no miracle mixer, and it has a taste which will distort anything you put it in. Think if this is a good value and go from there because all powders are similar. I can already see this being a pain to prepare, screwing up taste, and going in the round file.

I’ve tried many whey protein powders to make my keto bagels and this one has, by far, made the best ones. They look great, don’t crumble when toasted, and taste as close to a NYC style bagel as one can get for a low carb bread product.
