Wright's Liquid Smoke, Mesquite, 3.5 Ounce

This is the BEST smoke flavor and has only TWO ingredients - water and smoke concentrate. It adds nothing but the best smoke flavor to you cooking! Buy two bottles. You will love using it. I presume it will add the wonderful smoked flavor you have come to love with your summer barbecue and this will allow you to add to your marinade and enjoy that smoke flavor year round. :-) I use it to make carrot hot dogs and other plant based meals. Yummy!! Your taste buds will be delighted with this product.

The bottle had leaked into the bubble wrap so it was a bit messy and strong smoke scent upon opening the package. Bottle was still sealed so I’m not sure how it leaked.After rinsing the bottle, I found it to be undamaged and smells as expected. I think it will be just right to use for kalua pork recipe.

I wanted mesquite smoke flavoring. I plan to use it in salsa making. I love that it doesn't contain chemicals but contains only steam distilled "smoke", pure and simple. I plan to reorder (they have other flavors as well) but will only order from this company as they are American and they do not use chemical additives. Very happy with this product and no, my bottle was sealed perfectly and didn't leak at all during shipping. Kudos!

I received the Wright's Liquid Smoke, Mesquite, 3.5 ounce only to find it has leaked quite substantial outside its plastic wrapping. I will not use this because it was poorly sealed from the length of time it was bottled, stored on many unknown locations, and strange environments. I take my health seriously and this issue could cause me serious health problems. The only reason this product would leak is that the under cap of the bottle was package without the IMPORTANT AIRTIGHT SEAL which all other products use. The outside cap has a tamper seal but it is not enough to protect the purity and integrity of the liquid smoke inside the bottle especially when the bottle cap isn't shut tightly, therefore, this product should be mandatorily pulled off the market and Amazon should force the Wright Company to refund all the costumers that has purchased this products in the past. Notice that many people have the same liquid leakage complaints. I took my chances knowing there is no free returns but this is not about not liking it but it is about product safety.

What can I say that hasn't been said by everybody else. The product is excellent, but the bottles are frequently not screwed down tight and sealed. So you may have to order twice to have one bottle intact, thus the poor value for money rating. The hickory is common on stores but the other varieties are not, thus the need to play liquid smoke roulette ordering it.

You have got to get this liquid smoke, if you like to make your own BBQ sauce. I make my own BBQ sauce. I can’t make it without this liquid smoke. Don’t get any other kind. The other kinds are terrible compared to this liquid smoke. BBQ sauce isn’t BBQ sauce without this liquid smoke.

Delicious aroma, can't wait to use it on steaks and chicken. There were a number of reviews about broken and leaking bottles. My experience was with a bottle extremely well packed in bubble wrap, and the cap was quite tight. However, it appeared that some liquid smoke had spilled on the bottle, possibly during filling, and soaked into the label thus producing aroma to be present when I opened up the box. There was no liquid inside any of the packaging. I rinsed off the bottle and now there is a faint aroma but not enough to smell up a cupboard. And it does smell delicious!
