This is a pretty good sized casting net that gives me a bit greater visibility of the net in the water. It did take me a little bit more time to get accustomed to throwing this into the water but it’s just a little larger than I was used to using. It snags fish almost effortlessly and it’s enabled me to fish a lot longer and more (less time and money going to the store to get bait as I can get it myself). I’m also able to enjoy grouper as they don’t generally get caught on poles (that I’m aware of in many years fishing here). This is a super strong and well-made net.This net came in a plastic box that’s not weak but it was a bit difficult to get back into after usage in the same way it arrived (isn’t it always like that?) and if you put it up before drying it then it might smell a bit less than optimal but I’ve actually been making sure to rinse it well and dry it before putting the net away. The net arrived poorly packaged without any padding, so the storage box it comes with was broken. Luckily the net looks completely intact. Well made, with really nice weights around the edges. Minus a star for the poor packaging effort, but the net itself is solid.
