Crystal clear. No fogging. No discoloration or tinting/off colors. Very nice high quality. Made in Japan.

I use it for determining print and drawing techniques, I have a 25 year old Nikon Loupe which I was always in fear of losing it. There is no replacement for this loupe it is unique in its quality of the optics.Now that I found another one I can finally relax, I have a spare one.

Large size makes it easy to see. Optics or good.

Works great just wish it had a metal body over plastic

So excited to see this loupe return -- I own the previous incarnation and I LOVE it and live in abject fear of having it break (a fairly strong possibility, alas, since the casing is not of the quality of the lens). So -- OK, this is really a review of a slightly different product, but since mine also has 2 lenses giving a total of 20x magnification, I doubt they're very different, and I would like to encourage anyone with need for seriously good optics in their magnifier to give it a try. Expensive, yes, but worth it. Maybe the new casing is more solid than the old... I'm awfully tempted to give this one a try myself...
