Mayerzon Dog Muzzle, Patented Mesh Muzzles for Small Medium Large Dogs, Soft Covered Mouth Guard with Adjustable Straps, Prevent Biting Chewing and Licking

My 12 year old Siberian Husky has behavioral pica and this basic mesh muzzle works very well to keep her from eating things she shouldn't on her walks. The plastic mesh is soft and lightweight but it's shaped very well (boxy and wide, and not too narrow) and holds its shape very well: the sides and top/bottom of it are up and away from her cheeks, jaw, mouth and nose, so her snout is not getting rubbed like it was with other mesh muzzles that tapered quite a bit at the end. She has plenty of room to easily pant and drink and it's easy to wash, as well. Because of how lightweight it is, it only took about 10 minutes for her to get completely used to having it on.She's a small husky (35lbs) and has a very petite head. I ended up ordering her a medium (she was right on the upper edge of a small) and I'm glad I did. A small would have been to constricting. The adjustable forehead strap is awesome and keeps her from pulling it down and off. It certainly does the trick if you have a pup that tries to eat things they shouldn't.Overall, I'm very pleased with the quality of the product, particularly for the price, and am happy it's working well and my girl is super comfortable in it.

We have 2 corgi puppies, and 13 wooded acres. It has been a challenge to keep them from finding and eating rabbit droppings, even though they are leashed. Not healthy for them to do that because of parasites and just the gross factor! Vet recommended a basket muzzle to keep this from happening. This muzzle is fine screen and air can flow through. Especially nice in the hot, humid south. We measured, we ordered and it was here in no time! They are easy to put on and adjust and allow our little guys to sniff and breathe without ingesting anything dangerous. Highly recommend.

This works well for my purpose. My dog has got a nose for marijuana, when I let him off leash at our park he finds the smallest amount that someone may have tossed or left behind. After multiple trips to ER and our vet saying it’s an epidemic in public parks, I decided to get this muzzle. It fit well and my dog got used to it pretty quickly with some “muzzle training,” which was getting lots of treats for letting me put it on for short amounts of time at home. It’s great because it’s light and he can still rough house with his friends, although sometimes his friends use it to their advantage or tries to help him out by pulling it off. This is a sturdy muzzle even though it’s soft. I’ve been through 3 though because my dog has figured out how to pick up sticks with the muzzle on and the sticks will rip through the mesh so we go through about 1 a month. But that’s okay with me, they’re reasonably priced and he still gets to have fun while I have piece of mind that he’s not going to get any marijuana or something worse that someone may discard in the park.

I use the muzzle to keep my dog from eating things she shouldn't (poop, rocks, enough grass to make her sick) when I let her outside. It's worked fairly well for that, but the mesh material is frayed and breaking apart already. This could be because my dog is a gremlin who rubs the muzzle against everything (grass, rocks, the fence) but I feel like it started fraying without much use early on. Still I like the style of the muzzle so she can easily sniff around and breathe easily, and it seems like a fairly comfortable fit.

This dog enjoys the freedom to wander our property. For the most part, she's a very good dog, although at times, she can be quite stubborn. One of those quirks is she likes to scavenge! The dummy ate something dead, got sick, and filled our house with poop!! The result was 2 days in the emergency pet hospital, and a $2000 bill [btw, pet insurance does pay for itself]. I decided to look for a humane way to prevent this in the future. This muzzle allows her to breathe, pant, and drink water, but she can't eat ANYTHING, including grass. The measuring instructions are spot on, so it fits her like a glove. It pops right on and off. There is no way she can get it off, but I used her e-collar to train her not to try. That took a whole 3 minutes and now she comes and waits for me to put the muzzle on her before letting her outside, so no more e-collar. I posted the 2nd picture for comedic effect, as I had just mowed the lawn, and she likes to root around. I highly recommend this muzzle, and you will, too!

No dog likes wearing one of those hard plastic cones and my house is not only not cone-proof, it is not even cone-friendly. I got one of these soft muzzles for my dog. He wasn't a fan of wearing it and tried repeatedly to remove it by rubbing up against my sofa but he eventually gave in and learned to deal with it He had no trouble panting or drinking water from his bowl but the muzzle will catch/release a few drops of that water. So much better than a cone. For both of us.

Ordered size based on my dogs snout and it didn’t fit, ordered a smaller size. It also never fit. Very flimsy, not super great quality, my dog could’ve ripped it off her head in less than a minute.

Walking my puppy has been rough as she loves to chew on rocks, eat goose poop and whatever garbage she finds. I bought a different mesh muzzle but found that it restricted her from panting so when I seen this one I had to try it. It's been a month now and it does what it's supposed to do. She can still pick up rocks but nothing goes into her mouth and she has enough room so she can pant with ease. I highly recommend this to prevent any dog from eating what they shouldn't. This muzzle is not meant to keep a dog from nipping as it is a softer mesh.

Our English Springer would eat anything she can get her teeth into, when out.The 4 barbed fish hook and line last week, was the final straw.With the £1,700 vet bill I can put up with her filthy looks whenever she comes across anything on the canal path. She gets it off to chase her ball when we get to the fields, so no liss there.It's light, fits snugly, yet she has room for panting and drinking, easy to put on and take off, it clips onto her harness so it is always handy.A first class product!
