Greatest Hits

Like most kids of the late 90s and early 2000s I grew up hearing blink-182 quite a bit. I very much enjoyed their albums like enema of the State, take off your pants and jacket, and their self titled album. I did lose interest after the band broke up but I still enjoy the songs. This greatest hits is very much a good simple way to get into the band. It goes in chronological order from their early songs to their main stream breakthroughs, and does have a few good unreleased tracks. However, I would also argue it’s a bit too simple and straightforward. Obviously a greatest hits album is supposed to have the greatest hits of this does. But there’s really nothing surprising about it, and while the unreleased songs are good, they’re not really mind blowing. So if you’re someone who wants a primer of blink-182 or just a fan who’s looking to condense there collections, this is probably the best thing you can get. But if you want anything more than that You should probably just buy their albums.
