Excellent for my use
I purchased the red foam tubing to slide onto open-ended pants hangers to eliminate creasing. For this purpose, they are the perfect length and have the perfect size interior hole. The texture and feel of the foam is very nice. I can imagine that anyone who wants to use these for adaptive purposes would be very pleased with the quality of the material.

SO helpful as Utensil Grips to help independence at meals for those w/ neuropathic hands!
Loved the pics in ad to assist in choosing best size to order for intended purpose.Multi-pack allowed for cutting each 12" length of tubing into 3 pieces. Dad is in a LTC center in which congregate meals are served, so we write his name & room # on each piece w/ a SHARPIE, which holds up well in the kitchen dishwasher. Aides provide his utensils w/ these foam grips & he is happy to more capably feed himself at mealtimes with the assist these foam tunes provide.Cutting them into the proper length was easy to accomplish: 1 ruler, 1 cutting board,1 sharp kitchen knife (& 1 SHARPIE to label each newly-cut foam grip). Easy peasy!

It does the job!
We tried the weighted silverware and the large-handled silverware, but these foam tubes that slip over your existing flatware are the best. My husband, who had a stroke, can squeeze them to get a better grip, and the other options had hard surfaces. These tubes will also fit over pencils, pens, and other kitchenware. Each color has a different diameter opening. The red ones fit our flatware. simply cut a length to fit the handle.

Great for building up handles!
I'm an occupational therapist and I use this stuff all the time! Weak hands after a stroke? Gripping painful because of arthritis? Build up those handles with something cushy! Red is great for silverware and most small things like safety razors or writing utensils for a juicy big grip. There are others with smaller or larger diameters for things like hair brushes or makeup pencils.
