That does not affect how the product works but it does make you feel like it is a substantial product. I was amused by what must be a marketing strategy and even assuming that is the case, it works. When I pick up the bottle, I feel like I have something important in my hand.The serum itself is a translucent gel and the dispenser is a pump. The pump works like you would expect an expensive product to work and I appreciate that. The gel serum is slippery and easy to apply. It quickly absorbs into the skin, leaving my skin feeling smooth and hydrated. It has a bit of a shine until it dries and I apply a facial cream over it so can’t say if any of that shine sticks around. My skin feels different with the serum than without. Even with facial cream, I can feel the difference in the smoothness of my skin. I feel that my skin also looks better, more filled out, hydrated, plumpness, not sure what to call it but the bottom line it feels younger. It is too late for my wrinkles to have the option of going away but I do like the affects of this product.

This antioxidant serum for the face is amazing!! I am constantly aging as I get older and I wanted to develop and skincare routine. I needed a serum to rejuvenate my skin and this serum does the trick! It helps brighten my skin and smoothen it out! I love the ingredients list as there is a good amount of vitamin C! The smell to this serum is light and does not irritate skin. My skin looks wonderful and way more energetic!! I would say I look more youthful! It has great moisturizing ingredients too, very hydrating!! Overall I am satisfied and interested with this product! I am very excited for future results!!

I wanted to like this serum but it comes out in little gloopy blobs half the time. I'm not sure what causes the clumps, if I got an old bottle or what, but it's very off putting. The packaging is nice though..

My wife has allergies, so the fragrance free aspect of this serum was a big plus, and also that it is paraben, BHA and BHT free. It is light weight, and if you push the pump too hard, it will almost run over your fingers. It absorbs quickly and my wife was able to use her regular moisturizers and makeup over it without it interfering with the application.She has sensitive skin, and this formula did not cause her to get any rashes or break out. Her skin looked great with the combination of products that she used. She switched it up and tried the serum with another set of moisturizers with the same results. It will integrate well with your skincare system and seems to be making an improvement in the time my wife has been using it.

This serum is a thin gel. It pumps out and smooths on my face well. Only a little is needed or else my face becomes sticky and a little tight. The ingredients are great for aging skin. Vitamin C is an obvious one but the lesser known ones like Ferulic Acid and Acetyl Hexapeptide-3 help the skin in different ways. It does not sting or burn and is fine for all skin types. It is not greasy at all. I dot a little bit on my face and around my eyes, let it absorb which it does quickly, then apply my day or night cream. Although I have only been using this serum for a couple of weeks, I do feel my skin looks brighter and clearer. It isn't going to work miracles but I think, with continued use, my mature skin will benefit from the good ingredients in this serum.I rated 4 stars because I really don't know if I will see any more improvement than I see now or if continued use will give me more noticeable results. But I do feel this is a great serum for people with aging skin to try because it has an ingredient that helps relax the facial muscles and smooth lines as well as antioxidants. It is vegan, fragrance free, free of a lot of nasty ingredients that many serums have, and also not tested on animals. The price point seems fair to me at $56.00 since so little is needed each time it is applied.

I don't love this antioxidant serum. The first thing I noticed was a very sharp smell of alcohol. I checked the ingredients and the fourth one listed is isopropyl alcohol. Alcohol is not good for your skin. It's not fragrance-free, either. It has a weird, funky odor that I could smell on my face all night. I just keep getting a whiff of something sour when I was trying to sleep. Not for me.
