I just can't believe how beautiful it looks and how well it plays! Obviously it holds the reed perfectly onto the mouthpiece, but I also noticed it's a little more responsive than my regular ligature. The low end of my horn seems to be easier to pop out. I love it! How can it be so cheap?! At this price, you should order two before they disappear!

The media could not be loaded. I guess I was not so lucky this time. As this ligature came crushed. There was zero protection from any kind damage. I just order another cheap ligature packaged the same way and it came in perfectly..Just keep in mind if you do order this it will be a 50/50 chance that it will come in okay or damaged. To give it the benefit, something heavy had to fall on it during delivery because it feels pretty solid. I still returned it without replacement because I do not want to encourage vendors the options to not package goods correctly. If this was in a box or bubble wrapped I may would have requested a replacement. This is when someone buys bulk goods and flip them yielding a high price without the concern to package better..... So I need my money back!

I teach saxophone and always love to try things that are inexpensive. I have a few inexpensive ligatures that are great, this just wasn't one of them. I play on ishimori, Vandoren, Bonade, and Rauvner depending on why. I had to order this ligature 2 times. I don't know whether to blame Amazon or the ligature company. It showed up flat...like literally flat. SO i asked for another one - which then shipped, but it was in the same flimsy, soft package. WHO SHIPS A LIGATURE IN A SOFT PACKAGE? Well after that fiasco X2 i finally tried the ligature.. NO. It just doesnt hold the reed evenly at all. I will keep it for students to try, but is literally so student can tell me why it doesn't work. Not a fan..sorry.

The ligature is too large for an Alto Saxophone mouthpiece. Just barely, but it doen't fully tighten the reed, and you cannot adjust the reeed to a permanent setting.
