Sometimes you don't know what you need until you buy the wrong thing.Trying to organize papers is hard to figure out.Quality is decent but hard to put papers in with all the ridges inside (accordion foldings).

I will order these again. They do what you expected. No rips or tears. Sturdy folder. I put 200 +/- papers and a regular file folder in these.

First: These are not the folders pictured on Amazon. I wanted something across the top.Secondly: if you want folders that actually expand to 5 1/2", buy something larger. I gently, and I mean gently tried to flatten the bottom . However when I got to 3" the sides w/ the special tape began to tear.Last, the quality of the paper is as I hoped for. Feels sturdy. Now you know the facts and you can decide for yourself! I will not purchase these again but will go for the ones w/ the fold over top and the elastic attached. I am "sick and tired" of the lessening quality on most of the items I purchase. Especially those MADE IN THE USA. any one else feel the same way?

It will hold a full year of my tax records.

Ten sturdy and large file pockets: useful for filing old papers.I used them to store medical bills and medical records that might be useful in the future.

Bought them to store past years' income tax books and will work perfect.

The items I ordered arrived when I wasn't at home. The delivery company was Purolator. Instead of doing like the other ones do, which is to leave it near my door, they left a card. I had to waste my time driving all the way to the Purolator depot to pick it up. What does someone do if they don't have a car, take public transport? The guy at the warehouse said they don't leave anything without a signature. If it's good enough for the others, then why not with Purolator? I mentioned to some people I know that my items came by Purolator and they groaned. Apparently, not a very good company to deal with and I can see why.

It's as good as it gets for what you're looking for. I wish the sides were either closer in/tighter or that the standard filing cabinets were slightly bigger when it comes to using the rails for hanging folders (since the ends tend to get caught on the rail, and it's annoying to work it out). But that's really not the fault of the product. If I didn't have those stupid rails in then it wouldn't be a problem (but then I'd have to stop using hanging folders as well). It holds up pretty well to punishment. I've only had one split along the bottom. In all fairness, I don't think these things are meant for the kind of back and forth travelling/shipping that that particular folder endured back and forth between my office and another office.Overall, no complaints about the product itself.

We "converted" our tax-client filing system from ordinary file folders to the Snead Pockets because the contents were always spilling out of the old folders. With the different size pockets we can accommodate very large client files and now rarely lose papers. As a plus, with these pockets you don't need hangers in the filing cabinet as the pockets pretty much stand up by themselves. The 50 piece box is a great deal...looks like it comes straight from Snead.

Good Product at a better price. It pays to shop around. The price for this file folder/pocket, on Amazon, was the best I could find.
