I bought this as a gift for my granddaughter, she really enjoys being read to. The pictures are great and she likes the way it rhymes.

Kids loves this, as my oldest said "we got this at the perfect time" great reminder to love your difference and it's still fine to love others differences too.

Mmmm, i thought this was a celebration of curly hair, it’s more a book to help little girls who have issues with their curly hair. My daughter is proud of her curly hair and we normalise it in our home so the book simply didn’t make sense to a self-confident, curly haired Caribbean girl. Not what we expected unfortunately. This is not a put down, just in case there are other parents expecting the same as me.
