Cutex Straight Stitch Teflon Presser Foot for Low Shank Household Sewing Machine

Q: Will this fit on a singer fashiong mate model 237? how about a touch & sew ii singer model 778?

Usually a Touch & Sew machine has a slant needle and needs a slant shank foot, so this probably would not fit that machine. I am unfamiliar with the Fashion Mate...this foot is for a low shank. The manual for that machine should tell you if the shank is high or low.

Q: Does this work for a Brother HQ1500?

As the Brother HQ1500 is a high shank sewing machine, this foot will not fit.

Q: How many are supposed to be in the package? The picture shows two, but there was only one.

The image or photo of item is showing 2 views of the foot for reference so you can see it from different angles the side and the bottom. this lets you know what kind of foot it is. I was looking for this foot as I have the normal regular equal sided teflon foot myself already and was hoping to find this item. So far I haven't found the one needed for my slantamatic 501 over 60 year old machines. But I had no problem in understanding you'll get one foot and what the image was representing was just two view of one foot for reference. I think sellers especially foriegn sellers need to realize in the USA and Canada markets is we expect a photo to be what we get because I guess we sometimes are lazy not reading the entire description or titles. However if they just took the time to split this photo into two photos so one showed the foot upright the next the bottom turned on it's side view that might prevent people from assuming its a double pack.

It was so hard for me to find a straight pressure foot that would fit my machine. so I took a chance with this foot, and it was perfect fit. BAdg
