Met my expectations
Someone should already know what they're looking before buying BR, I wanted a topo view strategy boardgame and the customize variation is a bonus, The quality of the components is average. The dice are a little clunky so I just applied the stickers to regular dice, the cardstock is flimsy but if you really need it sleeve it. The rules I think assume you know how to play risk but it only took a couple run throughs to get to advanced, over all this game met my expectations and exceeded them

For $20 or so...
First mine didn't come sealed properly, second a lot of the componets are cheap (the cards are nowhere near as bad as people say they are but still really cheap), third a few rules are either missing or not explained properly (like how to move your squads). That being said once you make up a few house rules you can play this game no problem. Plus the miniatures are cool not awsome but still really cool.

Not as terrible as the hype.
Not as bad as the hype. People are intentionally giving the game a poor rating. The game has potential. The units are beautifully crafted. The idea is instead of world conquest have squad based tactics. The game simulates Battlefield and even has customizable terrain. Whoever said the pieces were terrible was wrong.Pros-Plays like miniature game wihtout the expenses.-Pieces are beautiful.Cons-Recommend buying 2 sets for enough pieces. (especially the board.)-Didn't include real tanks-Need actual cover.

Not Your Average Risk
I personally like this version of Risk, it offers both shorter and longer games than the base game. It also is a different play style with the tanks and aircraft in the 2nd and 3rd "difficulties" respectively. I would suggest it to anyone who wants a different take on Risk but the same core concept: you have guys, you can get more, roll dice to see who wins.
