Very sturdy/strong. It takes two people two move it somewhere else once assembled only because it's big. Very easy to assemble. One person, no more than 20 minutes, probably more like 15. The only criticism I would have is that I wish the small silver "buttons" that insert into the holes for locking pieces together were either black or on the underside of the poles instead of silver and on the top side. It would look cleaner and more like one continuous piece instead of being so obvious as to where the joints are. Still love it.

This stand came on time, is functional, and wasn’t hard to assemble. The reason I purchased is to have more stability while using the hammock. It may achieve that, but it is very tippy and tends to blow over in a breeze leaving your hammock to sit on the ground and remain damp. My solution was to slide it between two posts when not in use. I have the standard stands that remain upright through the same vreezes so depending on where you want use it ( a more sheltered area) it would be fine.

This stand was very simple to assemble and worked great with our spreader bar style hammock. My husband, toddler & I all layed in the hammock and we had no concerns about its ability to support us. It’s lightweight enough that one person can move it around easily. It also comes with a carry case if you want to disassemble it and take it on vacation with you!.Overall very satisfied with this product!

But if I had to do it over again, I'd probably invest my money in something that would definitely last longer.Pros:As other reviewers have mentioned, it can hold the weight of at least two adults over 150 lbs.Despite the tiny instruction manual, it's easy to set up.I had no trouble using it with a long hammock, and it didn't sink to the ground, even with two people in it.Cons:I bought it in August of 2017, and it's already rusting. I left it out in the rain but brought it into the garage for the winter months. Still, when I went to pull it out again this spring, it was rusting. There weren't any major scratches on it, but it still rusted. Not sure how long it's going to last. Sure, that's only about $40 per summer, which seems like a great value, considering how often I used it. But I also could have invested the $80 in a more serious hammock that would have lasted longer. I don't think it's asking too much that an outdoor hammock frame stand up to regular weather.It's a pain to move. Not heavy, just awkward. You have to pick it up evenly by the middle bars. Attempting to lift it by the curved pieces at the top--which look exactly like handles!--will only make it fall apart.
