Great Connector!. Period.
This is a great connector. Solid and well designed. I was fooled by cheaper imitations and found that the screws that are supposed to make the connection easy and solder-less, actually didn't work. In a Speakon connector you insert the wire in a receptacle and then a screw pushes a tab against the wire to secure it in place. The wire, however, came out with minimal effort. In frustration somehow I got the NL2FX and I felt the difference right away. The screw is strong, making the connection a breeze. The connections are clearly marked so it is very hard to make a mistake. One caveat: I was doing a setup for my church and the two speakers have their own line to the amplifier. The first Speakon connectors that I bought were 4 poles which means, two monophonic lines. If this is your situation it is better to buy two pole-connectors, like this one. The number 2 in the NL2FX designation just mean that is a two-pole connector. Furthermore, if you are hooking the amplifier to a wall plate you need to get the matching two-pole female too. this is even more important since the backside of the female with only two poles instead of four, is less busy, better spaced and the tabs seem to be stronger. A four pole female will work but it is harder to figure out what pair are you using, a needless burden. The only minor problem that I found is that neither Amazon or the instructions in the package mention anything about the solder-less connector that fits the female back tabs. The female receives the male from the amplifier and connects the wires that go into the wall to the final destination where the speakers reside. Since in our case the speaker will be on the ceiling, soldering the terminals will be awkward. I ran to Home Depot but I could not find any connector that would fit the in the tabs of the back of the female. I will do a little research on this matter. If I don't find them, then I will use a soldering gun.In sum. This is the male connector to buy without hesitation. By the way, Speakon is a superior system that cannot be unplugged accidentally. Several years ago I blew a Mackie amplifier when I drop the 1/4" male connector to the speaker and it landed in a piece of metal that shorted the connection and burned the amplifier. All other connectors that I know are prone to the same accident. Speakon connectors hide the wires in a way that is practically impossible to produce a short-circuit by accident. Since the amplifier we use can produce 400-500 watts per speaker, the current in the line is considerably high.I will update this post if I find a solution for the tab issue. I invite Neutrik to help us finding the right solder-less connector that fit the back of the Neutrik NL2MP female connector.

Quality as expected
Quality as expected. Good fit, easy install, works great, Nice big chunky metal thumb button. Nice Phillips screwdriver wire clamps inside instead of those stupid allen screws that chew up your wire!! Love it

Nice
This is a nicely built Speakon connector. It is solid and was easy to put on the wire. Quite a bit superior to the cheap connectors that came on the wire.

Easy connector to work with.
Great connectors, however, I did have a little difficulty using a 24 guage wire.

Very easy to assemble. No problem with thicker gauge wire. Works great.
Had four of these assembled in less than ten minutes. They fit very snugly on to 12 gauge speaker wire with no problem. Audio quality is much better now than with bare speaker wire. Great product. Will buy more soon!

Cable hole in back too small
I needed this for 12 gauge cable but the hole in the back was too small. Possibly ok for 16 gauge or smaller cable.

Buy this! Not the other brands in 4-pack.
Quality well made product. I needed to build a charge cable for my Inergy Kodiak before my camping trip. This one arrived just in time. So far very happy with it. I first tried another brand that came in a 4-pack but that was flimsy piece of junk. This one is clearly a winner.
