This was the perfect present!
It is VERY important to know that this is NOT for a hard cricket ball. They supply a suitable one, so, soft balls only. It’s very well made of course, and the delight on our sports-mad grandson was a picture!

Note, not suitable to be used with hard cricket ball!
Bought for grandson and ideal for garden/playing field. Grandson v pleased with set, but, once opened found the set is unsuitable to be used with a hard cricket ball. That information is missing when viewing the site and should have been included. Otherwise good for young people to practice / have games with friends.

I know it is wood, but it is only for soft cricket balls. Be warned!
