I am originally from NYC, and I've lived in Chicago, Both are places with wonderful ethnic bakeries. Still, Babka ATX is my most favorite dessert treat. It is as the saying goes 'to die for'. (Just be sure to choose expedited shipping if you can, especially during the summer when the temperatures are in the 90s or even 100. The babka will still be yummy, but the texture changes a bit when it's been in transit for five days.)Good thing that I don't live in Texas near this bakery: chocolate babka would be a part of my daily diet!Try it; you will love it!!!

The media could not be loaded. We've purchased babka from Babka ATX before, and love that they're now available on Amazon. The babka arrived so fresh, soft and moist, and packed with chocolatey goodness. We also ordered the cinnamon babka, which we love to use for French toast. Makes a great gift or a fun treat for yourself! Plus the babka freezes well for longer storage. Would recommend!

The cake looked right but it was tasteless. No chocolate just faint crumbs inside The dough tasted like paper. Just awful all around.

Maybe I had elevated expectations for this Babka. It is quite expensive but it looked good in the wrapper. However, when eating it the bread part was too dry and there was insufficient amount of chocolate between the layers of the bread. I do not mind paying for a product if it is the best but this did not live up to expectations. It is no better than the brands one sees in supermarkets over many parts of the country for 1/4 the price.

The babkas arrived earlier than expected and just in time for our Friday dinner.The cinnamon babka was soft, moist and delicious.The dark chocolate babka was INCREDIBLE. Soft, moist and had the perfect amount of chocolate!The recommended buy together item should be a gym membership, because you just can’t stop eating these babkas (:**** Even 3 days later the babkas are still soft and moist. Wow, this is my family's new favorite treat and a great addition to my morning coffee. The babka arrived quickly and reminded me of my Grandmother's baked goods - homemade freshness, not processed and dry like similar products we've tried. Definitely worth every penny!

I’ve been able to enjoy ATK Babka several times and it is always wonderful! Even after being shipped across the country. A few seconds in the microwave makes it even more delicious! We ordered the chocolate last time, delish! Such a treat!
