First off, my case arrived without the scuffs and blemishes others have experienced (thankfully).I would describe the fit as being similar to that of your typical high quality TPU case, albeit a bit more rigid and with a bit of a rougher texture. The hard plastic portion snaps nicely into the TPU, and although it is quite slim, it does add more rigidity to the overall case.If you need to, you could peel the corners back and easily remove the phone. I wish it were more difficult, personally, but I don't want to give the impression that this isn't a great fitting case.The TPU portion also has textured serration patterns along the side for added grip. The button covers feel very crisp, sharp, and tactile -- no mush whatsoever. These are probably the nicest TPU button covers I've used on a case besides Diztronic.The notification slider can be reached more easily with a fingernail, but it's not the best design in the first place (not sure why OnePlus didn't make it bigger or just copy Apple's flip switch design). If you have fat fingers, it'll be a mild annoyance, but not a deal breaker.The feel of the hard plastic back piece is nice (I'm talking about the teal variant). It's not quite soft-touch like the backs of the Nexus 5 or the original Moto X; but it is a nice soft matte finish (perhaps more like the Nexus 5X back).I tried jamming an NFC bus card into the case; both between the hard plastic and the TPU and just behind the phone itself and the inside of the TPU. Between the hard plastic and the TPU, the bus card fits but creates a bump and raises the lip at the top sightly. It didn't appear to compromise the integrity of the case, but it's a tight fit. Otherwise, resting the card between the metal of the phone and the TPU all but eliminated the lip of the case (no good). While it would've been nice to get away with it, the case wasn't designed for it.Thankfully, the flash doesn't appear to reflect off of the glossy border surrounding the lens cutout.The headphone cutout fit my studio monitors. No complaints there. It looks like most headphones would fit.Microphones aren't covered. Speaker isn't covered. Everything seems symmetrical.Overall, I'm really impressed with the case. It's better than the rip-off silicone cases from OnePlus and it looks really nice on the phone.While I'm certain an Otterbox is the only current case that would protect the device from a nasty fall, this feels like it would save your corners from a 4' drop (and it's not ugly like a standard Otterbox case).If you want a stylish, low-profile, protective case, look no further. Totally recommended.

I bought this case second time. Love this. It fits snuggly to my oneplus5, port openings are wide enough to reach, buttons are awesome, very responsive. Overall material of the case feels very luxurious & soft. It protects the phone very well too. I dropped my phone few times in the past & nothing happened to it. The soft back part of it starts wearing out after couple of years and I think its normal. After two and half years the soft layer on the backside started peeling off but the case still remained sturdy. I bought it again to give my phone a new look. Now I bought a new oneplus8T and again I bought this case for my new phone. I hope its gonna stay new for the next 2 years. I definitely recommend this.

Fits well and has protected my phone so far. The original case I had was from OP and was more refined, but less protective. It felt softer to the touch and had no rough edges. This case is pretty good, but the back is more slippery. It feels like a really nice plastic, but isn't as grippy as some alternate rubberized cases. The bottom cutouts are very edgy because they aren't rounded off. Just something to be aware of. For the price though it is a good purchase.

I love everything about this case. First, the functionality is great. The buttons line up the way they should, the case protects the phone really well and the case itself is super slim. When I first got it I had to get used to it because I kept "losing" my phone in my purse! I have dropped my phone multiple times now and the case has come through every time. I was very pleasantly surprised as even when I dropped it face down the case worked really well. When I looked closer it appears the case is slightly raised higher than the edges of the screen for that reason. Good design. Finally, I've been using this case everday for like 3 months now and it still looks brand new.Second, the aesthetics of this case are fantastic. The color is true to the picture and really pretty. I haven't had any issues with the color fading out or rubbing off with constant use either. I also really like how they black parts on the side have texture for grip and the back of the case is smooth. It could be a little more textured, but it works out really well. Overall I think it's a great case and I would reccomend it to anyone who has a one plus 5!

It's a well-designed case which not only fits the phone well but is also quite attractive. Its key features are quite accurate as I've mistakenly dropped my phone a few times and despite my initial panic and fear, the phone and the case are perfectly fine. I've used two cases for the Oneplus One before purchasing the Five and while I thought that those cases were reliable, this specific case seems to have the best features of those cases but even much more improved. The buttons fit well and are very functional - taking pictures with the side buttons don't produce shaky pictures. The charger and audio jack slots are roomy enough and it functions well. However, this may be either the case's fault or my personal fault but I either applied the Oneplus' 3D screen protector badly or the case pushed it in a bit. Regardless, the case works well and I highly recommend it.

Great Case!I've owned this same case for two other devices and keep coming back. My wife is rough on phones, so I need something that adds a bit of extra protection. This case adds the extra protection without the bulk of an otter box. The ports/buttons line up great and they leave extra room so your USB Type-C cable fits with no issues. I am even able to fit the piece of metal for a magnetic mount under the plastic piece with no issues.I would purchase again with no hesitations.
