No Bounce!
I hadn't run with a fuel belt in years, but wanted to buy one for training/running longer distances. This one fit well and stayed in place, no bottles bouncing! Plus I like that there are just two larger bottles in front (and insulated so liquid stays colder!) Lastly, I really like the lightweight flap pocket in front that my iPhone 13 fits into perfectly and the flap is clear mesh so you can read text messages without removing the phone from its pocket! It was higher priced that a lot of the other models out there, but well worth every penny!

DESIGN FLAW
This is my second Nathan Hydration Running Belt. I loved my first one and wore it running 6 days a week. As a result the zipper broke after several years of wear and tear. GREAT VALUE and HIGH QUALITY!Naturally, I was looking for a replacement belt and would not consider an alternate brand. I ordered this belt with the insulated water bottles and immediately started using it. The belt was extremely comfortable with the large pocket and 2 bottles. I was excited! However, on my second run one of the bottles fell out of plastic holster. I did not hear the bottle hit the ground as I run with air pods when not on the street. Luckily, a runner behind me picked up the bottle and returned it to me at the end of the route. I blamed myself thinking I did not insert the bottle fully into the holster. Third run, the bottle fell out again! This time I thought I was wearing the belt too low and my butt knocked the bottle out. As such, I raised the belt and continued running but the bottle continued to end up on the ground. Now frustrated I pulled the elastic strap over the top of bottle to prevent it from falling out of the holster throughout my run. This tactic made it very challenging to free the bottle to drink.Unfortunately, I have elected to return the item in hopes that a new line of the product will be designed soon. I will utilize my handheld hydration bottle in the meantime.

Stays significantly colder
I bought both the Trailmix and the Trailmix Plus. I found that in hot weather (85 F) the Plus does keep ice water significantly cooler, so it’s worth the upgrade if you need not just hydration but also help with high temperatures. When I filled the regular Trailmix with ice and then with cold water from the refrigerator, it would be barely cool by the end of a 45 minute run at 85 F. In contrast, the Plus would still be cold and have some unmelted ice remaining. When the weather was only in the 70’s I had to add less ice to avoid “brain freeze”.The Plus has slightly taller bottles to hold the same 10 oz with a double walled container. I also found the Plus bottles to be easier to squeeze - which is a top complaint for the regular Trailmix.Nathan doesn’t seem to sell these 10 oz bottles on their own - only 8 oz insulated bottles. The very reflective bottles are a nice bonus for night running - although you can blind yourself by drinking while wearing a headlamp. I learned to hold the bottles sideways.

Great for running, just not trail running.
This is a great item for running on flat surface but on the trail the flasks tend to fall out. Had this happen numerous times and eventually lost one while running. Not sure if the holders are designed to keep the flask from falling out when there is elevation and uneven trail surface. On flat surface these are great but be careful when running on the trail.

Love this belt but it’s a bit too big for skinny runners
I really like the pockets and the water bottle holders. The extra insulation is ok but not great. It stays cold maybe 40 minutes in Florida on a normal run, so on a long run, drink up and have a cold refill plan. I’m 5’7” 125lbs and have issues tightening the belt enough. The world has become bigger and gear has left thinner runners like me behind. Its ok at the tightest setting but I have to keep tightening throughout the run. Then you have the extra long belt ties to manage. Other than that I do like it.

It works fine.
I use this for short (3-5 miles) or long (marathon or half)! It’s so convenient and water is kept cold with the insulated bottles. It’s great for carrying money, credit cards, Kleenex, & hand sanitizer!

Bottles are of low quality.
Usually, one gets what they pay for...not with this product. This was my first Nathan running product.** Does Not Hold Water **The bottles leaked immediately and constantly during my run. I believe the bottle tops do not fit and/or screw on quite right. I'd say about a quarter or more of my water leaked during my hour trail run. That's a lot when your running in the Texas heat and humidity for an hour or more.** Bottles Do Not Stay In Place **To make matters worse, the bottles would not stay locked in the holsters at the beginning of my run. Didn't make it a full mile before both of my bottles fell out. Had to adjust the belt so the bottles were in front of my torso. Constantly adjusted and checked the bottle placement for the duration of my run.The belt itself was very comfortable and held my Pixel 3, Ridge wallet, and nutrition gel just fine, with plenty of room to spare.** Final Verdict **Returned the the belt. Completely dissatisfied.

Perfect for this old pro of an endurance athlete
This bottle set is very comfortable, high quality and holds ample fluid for moderate distance....and if you need more fluid just circle back to the car and get more to refill! VERY comfortable, you never know you have it on---holds 2 10 ounce fluid flasks and you can store like gel packs or I guess phone, but I don't carry the phone.
