First of all, don't use this product if the TDS value of your water is above 250ppm because it cannot reduce that much. And also if your water source is highly contaminated or may contain heavy metals, fluorides or too much dissolved/organic impurities etc. then better to go for other higher end models with a minimum activated carbon filter. Otherwise, for normal ground water from deep tube-well, bore-well or Municipality supplied water, this is the best option without any hassles of frequent breakdowns or maintenance. I have installed it in the most convenient way I could think of - just by fitting it to 2 nos. cloth hangars made of steel and hanging them on my grill. No need to even drill or put any nails in the walls. The installation as well as maintenance videos are widely available on YouTube and instructions are also provided in the manual given with this product. I have even called up the customer care nos. for several enquiries and the representatives are really quite helpful providing me with all the details of spares availability along with prices and courier charges.After installation, if there is any leakage issues, you can use Teflon tape to seal any gaps. During the initial usage, let at least a few litres of water to drain out of the outlet pipe so that there is no foamy substance or residue left in the product. Then, as per my understanding of the working principles and claim from the company, you don't have to worry for the next 5000 litres of clean drinking water until it's time for the first cleaning again for another 5000 litre. You can also purchase a separate 15 litres drum with tap from this company @ ₹550 having a auto cut off valve for automatic filling and storage near this device as the supply speed is 1 litre per minute approximately.

I am using this water purifier. It's a good purifier because you don't need electricity 🔌 to run it and even supplies very good water.

I ordered this product. When it came i thought it would be good product. The clean water which bmc provides, it adds bad odour in the water. Even after wasting more than 60 ltrs water... the water started coming clean, but the odour didnt left. I contacted the customer care, they said remove the copper filter, bcoz the odour is of alkaline added in water. Now i removed the copper filter and kept the water on normal filtering. The water keeps coming with same odour. Now i removed the plastic tub and clean the membarane with soft sponge provided in the box. And even after wasting again 50 ltrs of water same odour keep on coming. I contacted the customer service. I was told we dont have habit of filter water.Now i have asked for replacement ... the typical amazon delivery guys, puts missed calls and postpone the delivery to next day. Its been 3 attempts and i still dont have the replacement. This is final amazon product. The day i get my replacement i will return this filthy product and useless app.

The media could not be loaded. At present The copper filter is fully jammed how clean if possible replacement send new one copper filter and new candle

UF filters, at-least the BARC developed one do such a good job that they deserve to be made the standard fitment for drinking water taps that rely on clorine heavy corporation water supply. Carbon based or RO based filters need to be replaced so often than companies that make water filters sell new units for low margin just to mint money from years of filter replacement that they are sure to sell during maintenance. This filter by contrast just needs a wipe with a cloth once in few months and will probably last many many many years without needing a replacement. The alkalizer also does a good job in increasing the pH value 1 step. All in all a excellent option if primary source is soft water. Go for these and use the saved money for something else

Technically good. Easy installation. Initially there was some leak, but after pressing & securing the tube connections, it is fine. Non electric, simple. Also gives scope to adding minerals, etc filters (for taste) at a later stage. Good quality & technology at entry price.
