Let me tell you, this thing ain’t no ordinary pen. The popping sound alone could make a grown man reevaluate his life choices. Item arrive just as described. I believe it will do what I need it to do. I purchased it to scare off aggressive approaching dogs. So far I have not had to use it. I do feel better with it out and ready though. It is small enough to comfortably fit and not so small it is going to be dropped. I would recommend it!

Wow I am extremely impressed with this pain pen. I actually got it to deter dogs away when walking my dog it is loud. I was carrying a larger one too heavy., I was concerned if this was loud enough. Oh yes it is light weight.Push on button and taser button is right in front of it. So in panic push on press button.I luv it.

The only reason why I'm giving this four stars is the fact the locking mechanism doesn't work all that well. But it does work as a taser I accidentally activated it holding it from the wrong end my wife said I screamed like a girl my vision got blurry and I immediately dropped the pen, that was two and a half weeks ago and my hand still feels funny so if you're wondering if this will take anyone down yeah definitely and I only taszed myself for about a half a second. The self-defense items should always be used on a person's neck apparently that's the best place to get them for the maximum effect. A cop told me that Sophie affected me that much just changing my own Palm I can't imagine what it would do on a person's neck. But I would carry it outside your pocket because it's very easy to slide this locking mechanism it only takes the slightest bit of pressure to release it from its lock

It is very effective against aggressive dogs, the sound alone will scare them off. I had a pit bull charging at me and it stopped about 20 feet away once it heard the sound of 25,000,000 volts. I had a few more experiences with dogs after, but they all ended the same, dogs want nothing to do with that sound.

I love this little "toy"! It functions as a two-way flashlight and can shock while the light is on. The magnetic handle end should also help for holding the flashlight. It's well designed and just the right size.
