Good follow-up to Ben Hogan's book
Ever since fully adopting the principle of neutrality, my golf game has gone to another level--hitting the ball solid and straight on a consistent basis. This is a great follow-up to Ben Hogan's 5 Lessons - The Modern Fundamentals of Golf. The only thing I disagree with in this book is the toe down position of the club face at the top of the backswing, because this is NOT, I feel, a neutral position. It's an open faced position that requires a squaring up of the club face on the downswing. Nearly every golf pro today has the club face pointing at about a 45 degree angle to the sky, which in my opinion is a neutral position (square club face) that requires no manipulation from the top coming down.Otherwise, this is a fantastic book that helped me tremendously.

Another look at the mystery of Mr. Hogan's swing...
Very interesting stuff. If you are a "Hoganphile" it's definitely worth reading. But, like the rest of the Hogan books out there, you need to sift through the author's own perspective/bias. Most writers, if not all, start with their own view of what is "right" and what is "happening" and flavor what they write from that perspective, drawing their own conclusions. Realize that Mr Hogan said many times that he was describing what he FELT, not always what he thought he DID. Study the many videos out there, read what Mr Hogan said, then try to imagine it from HIS perspective. You may come to some interesting conclusions of your own.

Interesting inside information and a fun read!
Really enjoyed the easy read. Good insights into playing better whether you're a beginner or experienced experienced player. Brought back memories and reminded me of how lucky I was to have a dad who got me started and all my friends were at the course! Remember your dad very well! He was always there to register players before NOGA Jr Events. He always made you feel welcome. All the stories were very entertaining and educational. Nice account of the Park at that time. Great job, Larry!

No Swing Secrets Here, but a good read
Spoiler alert. There is no grand Hogan swing secret here. There are some nice explanations of Hogan's tournament prep and and his outlook on practice and his work ethic. If you're a Hogan fan the book is a nice look at Hogan and his game, life, and his company. But if you're looking for the long rumored swing secret that Hogan took to the grave, then you will be disappointed.

Quick read, Worth both the time and monetary investments
I enjoyed the book for two reasons. It confirmed an idea that I had about a golf swing and its symmetry. Also, the stories are interesting. Larry provides intriguing insight into the mindset of tour players and how their knowledge of the golf swing enables extremely meticulous adjustments that the average golfer can't even comprehend.

No secrets here
No secrets were found in this book. It's more like Chinese whispers, the author keeps talking about the secrets he heard from someone who heard it from Mr Hogan and they are nothing new but the typical stuff you keep hearing on the net. It has some Ben Hogan stories but all in all a waste of time and money.
