I work from home in a small space leading onto our garden, and in the heat, the doors need to be open. All well and good, but I am occasionally joined by small birds who then find it hard to leave. I usually only open one door, so finding a curtain/similar which would cater for this, opening to the side rather than in the middle, was really important.This product was the only one I found that met the need to open towards the side, but also came in the size I needed, as the door is metal framed in a larger wood frame. The item was precisely as described, to the exact centimetre of its given dimensions. It can be put up either way, so the side opening can be left or right.It's completely perfect, allowing ventilation whilst keeping out unwanted wildlife (birds and flies), but my jack russell got the hang of it in 5 minutes.I would thoroughly recommend this, for quality of manufacture and materials, ease of putting up and use, and how effective it is.

Why on earth did I put up with cheap-charlie, one size fits all fly screens bought from the likes of Home Bargains and Poundland when I could have had one of these beauties for not much more. No more folding the screen to try and make it fit and look neat. No more tiny velcro patches which have to be replaced every 2 months. No more clacky plastic magnets which sound like machine gun fire every time you leave and enter the house. This screen, available in many sizes, is so well made and looks so neat. It was a doddle to install and is completely attached on 3 sides leaving it looking very neat and unobtrusive. The velcro is excellent and the adhesive fixing it to the door frame is VERY sticky. I can only imagine that the reviewers who have reported otherwise didn't clean and degrease their frames as recommended in the instructions. I cleaned my door frame using some UPVC solvent cleaner (under £4.00 for a litre) and the velcro backing is stuck like a limpet to a rock. As you can tell, I'm REALLY pleased with this screen and would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone. 5 stars.

Since moving to a canal-side flat, I have tried a few mosquito nets. This particular brand is 100 % effective in keeping bugs out and is very easy to install, unlike some of the other brands that come with 20 parts or so and need trimming.The previous one I purchased was very hard to install, and I had to give up in the end. There were too many clips, plastic strips, etc.This one has only four parts: mesh, tape left, tape right, and tape top. The only thing I would say is that it is a bit annoying that when pulling the protection off the hook tape, the paper splits constantly. It would save a lot of time if a type that does not split was used.

Sent this back as did not fit my back door good quality disappointed that it didn't fit.
