Before I had this, I tried to get out of bed at night while half-asleep and fell out of bed onto the floor. The ambulance took me to the emergency room. So I bought this 2 inch stepstool and it worked so well I bought 2 more for armchair and bathroom. I am 5 ft 4 inches tall.

My dad needed a little boost from the garage step into the house and this height was just right.

I bought this step for be able to get up on my bed after spine surgery and it was very helpful. Since then I am using it to make the step smaller between two area and works great.

I like the fact this stool isn't heavy but yet is very sturdy. It also has safeguards against sliding. The texture helps make for safe footing and makes a big difference in getting up those tough steps with no railing. It's easily transportable so would be great for getting in high vehicles as well.

I was looking for an extra low stool to use in my RV. The height is perfect. It is sturdy with the four legs plus a couple under the base of the stool. It has been so helpful stepping out of the shower lessening the huge step down. The base is wide enough to stand on and towel dry with a little room to spare. It has the raised bumps on it which are very uncomfortable to me. They hurt my feet. I almost took a point off because of that, but I knew they were there when I ordered. The only thing that would make this stool better is a textured flat surface.
