Such a lovely plant!
I was very concerned about how far this plant was coming from and with inclement weather during transit. It was so well packaged that it had no damage. 3 days shipping during the winter and NO damage. I am so impressed and thankful for their careful and thoughtful packaging! The plant is so full and absolutely beautiful. It surpassed my expectations and I am so excited to add this plant to my collection.

Not a happy costumer
I dont know what it is with this plant, i just cant get a good one, i love the plant because its very pretty, bit it does not stay that way for long, after a day or so alot of the leaves start to turn color an die an this just continues i paid $90 for this plant an i am so disappointed.. plus it just dont look like the pictures an it is not the size that was described, whats up with that?? I buy all of my plants on line and most of the live give or take 1 or 2,, so i cant blame on-line ordering.. This plant is just too expensive to just die like that.. i brought one for my mother for mothers day.. yes!! I did go back an purchase another one wen i got mines because like i said the plant is pretty, even tho its not as shown on line.. I got my mothers for $50 on sale plus tax. Way cheaper than mines.. well that was a mistake because as I stated mines started to die, because of that I didn’t give my mother hers for mother’s day, i wanted to see if the same would happened, an it sure did, the plant came looking ok an it had a few brown spot an i said ok, just cut those, a few day later that same thing started to happen with her plant as well. Glad I didn’t give it to my mother..very disappointed!!! I spent alot of money on 2 plants that are both on the brink of death.. :(

Worth it
I am a plant addicted currently. I bought a leaf off a plant similar to this, a single leaf on Etsy for $90. So I was VERY skeptical when I found this whole plant for sale on Amazon. Let me just say I am VERY, VERY impressed. The shipping box was beat down, but I could see there was care in the packaging of the plant. I did have to cut off one leaf, a few leaves look dry/wilted, and I added more soil to cover the exposed roots. However, this plant as of right now is overall healthy and even sprouting new growth. The roots appear healthy and I do not see any pests. I highly recommend this plant to anyone wanting a unique green in their home. It’s worth every dollar. Now I’m mad about the $90 leaf haha.

Easiest to grow alocasia I have!!!
This alocasia grows like no other! The corms even sprouted quicker than any I’ve had….i honestly don’t understand any bad reviews on this alocasia. It’s stunning! The leaves do have some yellow but a lot of white ones pop up as long as it gets good light… actually the corms had many white leaves even with lower light. I even had some corms start to rot, so I placed them on top of perlite/stratum and they STILL ROOTED and leaves popped out. Then I was able to bury them because the rotted parts had calloused. Some people just don’t know how to care for alocasias, it’s a plant that takes much research but it’s so worth the work, these plants are so much fun! I convert all mine to semi hydro because they love it and thrive. I don’t like soil at all. I use a mix of lechuza pon, perlite, & fluval stratum. You wanna have thriving alocasias? Look into this.

So tired of trying to save this plant
I want to start by saying the companies customer service is great. I had concerns and questions and they did get back to me quickly. Now regarding the plant : when I saw it I felt like it was the most beautiful plant! I loved that it was “rare” and so special. The problem was that I have been having issues with it since the day I received it. The plant had spider mites. Which not only did I not realize until leaf damage started showing up but also I have NEVER had spider mites in my home. So now I bought neem oil, tried alcohol spray and wiping each leaf down weekly and even showering this plant to wash off all the bugs but no success. It’s quarantined in a separate room so it won’t infect my other plants but it’s too late. Already two of my other fav plants are suffering. I have been putting so much effort into keeping this plant alive and in healthy condition that I’m literally running out of hope and Steam. I regret buying this plant. It’s caused me so much trouble and I’m wasting time and money to desperately try to save it. It very fragile and arrived infected with mites which is just slowly killing the plant. My house now daily reeks of neem oil and I hate it. Maybe I was just unlucky with my plant but I truly wish I could send it back. I have ordered quite a bit of rare plants online and have never had this kind of issue happen. Sites like BWH would never send an infested plant out.
