The seeds are very good
And Mine germinated it took some time i put mine outside in sept and oct in seed flats and they did germinate i also put some in the fridge i plan on planting in dec. rose seeds like to be tricked into thinking it is spring. they take a long time to germinate no matter what seeds you buy. they are one of the hardest plants to grow by seeds. And now i have to wait to see what colors they will be. Most people put there rose seeds in the fridge for 4 months and then plant them and it does work i put mine out in warm days in early fall and there was cool nights. and the rose seeds came up.

Waste of time and money
I stratified these seeds, as there were NO instructions with them. I spent months trying everything from putting some in a wet paper towel inside a baggie, to planting in soil. Not one of these seeds sprouted. Total waste of time and money. You want a rose bush? Take a clipping from someone's about 4" long and root it in water. This worked for me.

Rose Seeds
They arrived! They appear in good shape. Package looks like it has 200 in it(I didn’t pour them out and count,I’m happy with the amount there). Only time will tell if they are viable(or if I’m green thumb enough!!). Can’t wait to see how many I can get to sprout! I’ve had good experiences starting many types of plants by seed, this is my first try with roses from seed.Hopefully I will have many varieties of roses later this year. I am really hoping that I get the gorgeous colors shown in the advertisement,as those colors shown are the reason I bought these. Springtime….I’m ready!! The write up on these didn’t specify if these have already undergone the refrigeration for weeks that is necessary(I noticed it specified the need to do that step in the write up of a different pack seller offered). If anyone knows, please tell me!!

Got them to sprout!
Put them in a ziploc baggy in the dark with a wet paper towel. Once they sprouted in there, I transferred them to an 8 cell seedling grower. Put them under lights, 12 hours on 12 hours off. Most of them just sprouted last night! We will have to wait and see how many are what colors (if any other then red). So far enjoying the product!
