A perfect guide
Well written and loaded with information. This is a perfect reference for the online version of this book. I enjoy having the physical version for when I'm unable to access the Internet while using pyqt6

All-in-all pretty good book
I think the author did a really good job of covering the Python GUI topics - very wide coverage. The formatting of the kindle book is not great. It's hard to format a full program so that it doesn't break at the inconvenient places - but this one was really bad.The table of contents is okay but could use more granularity. There are some errors in the example code - but fortunately few.My 2 biggest issues are:the download-able example programs don't have any organization that ties them to the book. They aren't organized by chapter and have no meaningful names that would tie them to chapters.Python programming requires heavy use of import statements. The author gave no clue as to which packages needed to be imported. Sometimes I spent quite a bit of time just determining where to import. All of that being said, The key thing is that following the book (and some internet searching) I was able to implement a fairly sophisticated python GUI app in 2 days.Well worth the cost of Kindle edition!

GUI applications in Python. Great Book!
This is one of the best books I have read regarding creating GUI applications in Python. The author demonstrates how python and Python QT can be used. Apple really only uses QT5 however this book from what I can see, applies all the various functions, widgets to develop a fully functional App. This is a very comprehensive book. This book is a must have for your library. I'm impressed. Good work. Make sure your background is Black in the Kindle App. White is difficult to read the code.

Great content, poor publishing job
I'd give the contents five stars. The author does a great job of taking the reader through the most basic PyQt programs and gradually adding more features. However, the publishing job is abysmal. Take note of that color book cover. It is the only thing in color in the whole book. Instead the author shows programs that provide red, yellow, and green buttons, but illustrates what he is doing with a grayscale illustration.I wish that publishers of technical content would just raise their prices and devote the money to publishing quality that they did 15 years ago.Content quality = 5/5Publishing quality = 1/5Averaged to get 3/5 total rating.

Lot of information left out
It seemed to leave out a lot of information about PyQt6. Things like events, it only covered mouse events, and QListWidget has nothing. There are others, but these were off the top of my head as I was writing this. There were several other things I had to go other places for information. I know there's limited space, but at might at least mention it with some kind of links to where you can get information.
