Good bird feeder
Well built and attractive feeder. Have purchased 3 of them: one as a gift, 2 for me. They are "close to" being squirrel proof......but those varmints still try. Top screws off and on and is easy to add seeds and does stay tightly closed. Has attracted lots of birds so far this Spring. I recommend it.

Great Feeder
While no feeder is %100 squirrel proof this is close! The cage is very helpful & the holes for the birds to feed from aren’t completely open. There is a small “cover” inside that prevents the squirrels from getting large handfuls of seed. So far they have not been able to knock it down. So it’s sturdy. The only negative is the extra perches you attach. After one day I have a missing one. It isn’t on the ground so not sure if it got caught on a bird or a squirrel. So took one star off for that. The cover has kept the seed dry. I can’t speak to durability as I’ve only had it three days. I love the color! So far happy with purchase.

Awesome bird feeder!
I love this lighthouse bird feeder. I was very impressed at how sturdy and well made it is and it is so adorable. I have received so many compliments on it. It is also very easy to open and close and fill with seed. Looks great on my feeder stand and holds a lot of food! While not a purpose for part of the design I’m sure, I am also very happy with how the feed tray and posts work. I have a LOT of song birds in my yard. I also have 3 variety of dove that can, at times, take over all the feeders making it more difficult for the song birds to eat. Because of the design, the large size of the dove have a hard time using the feeder but the song birds and even the larger curved bill thrashers have no problem at all! I LOVE that. All my songbirds are enjoying the feeder so much and the dove still have other feeders in my yard to enjoy. I’m going to order another one in a different color.

Nice feeder, not squirrel proof but didn't expect it to be
We have had so many birds come to this feeder! Cardinals, house and gold finches, blue jays, cat birds, red winged blackbirds, titmice, chickadees, nuthatches and many more. I fill it up with the pennington black sunflower seeds and they all love it. They'll go through the entire thing in only a few days. Sometimes there will be so many birds - 5-6 - trying to get on the thing they will swoop down on each other all trying to get a spot. I especially like it because it seems to attract a lot more song birds to the area like red eyed vireo, pine warblers and veerys - which I've never heard before near my house. Side note - download and install the app 'Merlin' from Cornell Lab of Ornithology - you can listen to birds and it will tell you what they are. One of my favorite recent past times. If you're buying this with the intention of the cage solely blocking squirrels from getting to it - don't. Squirrels are extremely crafty and will figure it out in no time. They'll invite their friends and empty the thing in hours; waste of seed unless you want to actually feed them. What I did to keep the squirrels away is get the Ashman 91" tall shepherds hook, make sure it's far enough away from trees or fence; anything a squirrel can jump off of. And then the iPrimio 18" Squirrel Baffle about half the way up - which you might need to play with depending on if they figure it out. But for me, half way up has kept them away for the past year. They tried quite a bit initially for a full few hours but then eventually gave up.Happy with the feeder so far and hopefully it lasts for years to come.

BEAUTIFUL and WON'T FIT Squirrels or Pidgeons !!!
I finally decided I was only going to have beautiful & attractive bird feeders. I love it (holds a lot of seed)and the birds seem to love too . Maybe they like the red color... I was having a big problem with squirrels and pigeons but they can't fit on the bottom pan, and they got discouraged and went away.

Cute - no birds
It looks great. But the birds do not seem interested in it. 3 have tried three spots, still nothing. Maybe it’s just not high enough.
