I have an old Gateway T series laptop that I use as a backup, running Linux on it. Recently purchased a power supply for it and needed a new battery. Figured I'd give this a try as the price was right. So far so good, battery has charged perfectly. Rated as four starts on battery life because it works ok off the power supply, but I really haven't tested how many hours I can get out of it yet. Other than that, this seems to work just fine.

The battery lasted only 2 months. I believe one of the cells is dead.

I got this battery to replace the original in an older Gateway laptop I received from a client as pay for buying her a newer, refurbished laptop. I worked on the Gateway to upgrade it so it was functional once again and this battery was the last item I upgraded on it. The laptop is working well with the new battery, which was a breeze to replace. What a fantastic economical find!

Perfect fit and good quality battery. It’s not as great as the OEM battery was when it was new, but it works really well for the price.

Worked fine from the start. Battery life is only about 90 minutes but that is sufficient for my needs.

This is a good replacement part for Gateway 6813m. It took me 3 hrs for change completely, then I left to stand until battery finished. It was 1.5 hr first time, but second time I charged the battery over night and duration was more than 2 hrs. It seems that battery works and it is very cheap. Highly recommended.

Fits the laptop just fine. It won’t charge and is worthless. So be warned not all are good apparently.
