I love the Govee Outdoor Smart Plug! The setup was verye simple and it easily connected to WiFi through the app. I use it to power my inflatable Rudolph and Santa decorations, which works perfectly. The best part is setting a schedule - my decorations automatically inflate and deflate late at night. The connection has been reliable even through some rough weather, and the waterproof design gives great peace of mind. For anyone looking to automate their holiday decorations, this smart plug is definitely worth buying, and goes well with my other Govee products.

Outdoor resistant and you can control each of the three outlets. I used two of these for myChristmas lights this year. They both are working great.

We recently purchased a RV for a few getaways during the off times of our lives. One of the problems was that when we are not occupying the RV that is a few hours away, we cannot control the heat, lights and other electrical items that we want to enjoy upon our arrival or with great expense. I found this product by searching for a Wi-Fi heater that we could plug in a turn on/off when we are away or heat the RV before arriving or to protect it on cold winter nights. The heaters are fantastic and the app easy to navigate and works as I had hoped (even better than I anticipated) That lead me to the other line of their products of which are all very very easy to operate and allow you to control many different items while afar. We have now this item and the small single plug devices to control outside lights, boot heaters etc etc. Anything that plugs in and has a dedicated on/off switch works but it looks like they also have numerous items that would work independent of your own plug in items. Great product. I just wish it didn't say owned by PRC.....

Govee's has some products that are BT-pnly but they do not have the notion of a "hub" as other brands do. Their more sophisticated products communicate over BT and Wifi and take care of bridging the gap for the BT devices.I bought a motion detector that is BT only and couldn't communicate with anything because it lacked the ability to connect to a wifi network. I looked at the devices that can bridge between BT and Wifi and bought this because it had that functionality. This works well as a smart plug and a BT/Wifi bridge.Govee uses terms they made up like 'node' and 'Distributed Gateway' that frankly confused me and made it all sound more complicated than it needed to be. A node is a device that can speak BT and Wifi and translate between them. "Distributed gateway" is a fancy way of saying one or more BT/Wifi nodes on your network.This looks to be pretty heavy duty. I have a portable AC unit plugged in as well as a floor lamp and fan.The only disappointment is that it doesn't communicate back to Alexa whether the plugs are on or off. Kasa/Tp-Link smart plugs do this, which allows me to do fancier logic.I would say all things being equal, Govee is my favorite smart device brand.

So far the plug has been working fine inside the house. I will be putting it outdoors shortly and will update if it should fail. If anyone is wondering, this unit does NOT work with the SmartLife App. You must use the Govee Home App. Once it is setup, it worked fine with Amazon Alexa.

This was convenient to remotely turn the heater in the henhouse on, the chicken water heater to prevent it freezing, and the yard light to be able to see that all the chickens got in for the night.

I was hesitant to buy this outdoor outlet because of the odd shape. I figured it would somehow get water in it. It has been awesome with no problems. I have several Govee products and they are all outstanding. Pairing each item is so easy and flawless.

Useless. I have a Govee string lights and another plug for other Govee lights I want to put on a timer. The Govee string lights plug blocks the other two outlets so now I can’t plug in anything else. You would think there would be compatibility between Govee products.
