My son was a thumb sucker for years and it's a very hard habit to break. When he started to show signs he'd be ready to quit, we looked together for something that would help him. These gloves were perfect. A simple solution, and the bonus is that he thought they looked like super hero gloves. He wore them while lounging and during the night and within a week he was totally weaned from his thumb and very proud of himself :)

I have been looking for gloves that will help me stop pulling my hair. These are great and I am in love with them, for they are too silky for me to grab my hair. I can't pull! They are even fashionable and comfortable, and you can use your phone or tablet while wearing them! I am a 25F, these gloves are meant for kids 12+ but they fit my small hands perfectly. Only con and reason why I am giving 4 stars is that they can rip easy as you can see in my photo, they are not super tight on my hands and this tear happened when I was trying to pull the thumb part of the glove on more secure as soon as I opened them from the package. The wrist part is a little tight, but once it goes around my hand onto my wrist its all good! I am going to order an extra pair so I have an extra black pair for when these rip, other than the durability, they do the job! I plan to wear the blue ones around the house and the black ones when I go out!Update: I ordered another set and none ripped!

I have twins who have struggled with the habit of sucking their thumps at bedtime. These gloves have been helping immensely so far to breaking that cycle. By the morning time, they are so proud of themselves for not sucking their thumbs.

My son is six and bites his pointer and thumb fingers to the point of repetitive motion injuries. It is supposed to be soothing and bite proof but it isn't. It is made of a thin material like a bathing suit material. He is highly special needs from a brain injury. I'm tired of products stating that it is for special needs sensory input and problems when clearly it is not. I feel as a parent trying to help my son that I was taken advantage of. The description of what the product is intended for is false and wrong.
