This is a really nice grill. I have to preheat the grill for about 15 minutes to get to around 400°F, during my cook of some New York strip steaks. After reaching the desired temp on the grill grates, I turned the temperature control knob down to about medium high heat and proceeded to cook my steaks. I cooked each steak for about 5 minutes on one side, turned the steak about 45 degrees and cooked for another 5 minutes. I then flipped the steak and repeat the process. The steaks (1.25” thick) were grilled to perfection of medium rare. I also grilled oiled and lightly seasoned asparagus on it and got some nice grill marks. Cleanup was very easy and only took me a minute to clean the grate. The grill is also smokeless. Just make sure you fill the drip tray with water before use and clean both the drip tray and grate after each cook to ensure long lasting durability. It’s also easier to clean rather than letting it build up.One thing I should mention, is that the shipping box it arrived in was rather “beat up”. I cannot fathom why the manufacturer did not double box the grill, considering the price point. Mine arrived with a rip on one side of the box. This also caused the lid to have a slight ding on it. The grill is quite heavy but the side handles makes it easy to carry and store away after use.

+compact size we wanted+electric, replaced old gas grill+easy to clean if your dishwasher is big enough or you don't mind hand washing. It's seriously nonstick so not much of a chore.+looks nice 😀+sturdy but light+little/no smoke or flareups- slow to heat- doesn't reach high enough heat- design requires water which, when lid closed, makes it hard to get char of gas grill at high heat

Looks grea,t and all the bells and whistles are nice. But, it doesn't get as hot as the propane grill I am replacing. I was not able to get a good char on my meat.

After living in a big house for 20 years, we moved into an apartment. I was missing my powerful natural gas grill, but our building management doesn't allow (and rightly so) using gas grills on the balconies. I tried to find an electric grill that would be as good as the gas one. But the one that topped the chart of electric grills (the name of the company starts with W, and it goes for $300). It was a joke. It was not grilling. The surface temperature was just low. Got rid of it, and didn't have a grill for some time assuming that if the top-of-the-line can't perform, I was out of options. Luckily I decided to give a try to Kenyon G2. It arrived yesterday, and I tried to grill a steak. It came out perfectly! The temperature inside the grill is really hot, so it performs like a gas grill. It's very easy to clean too. Highly recommend!

The media could not be loaded. I love this one. Great for inside or outside. We made 9 cheeseburgers and 6 hotdogs all at once with no issues for space. Perfect for a family of 6. So easy to clean. I just rinsed off the grate and then through it in the dishwasher. The water pan was even easier. I just dumped the water out and rinsed with hot water and then wiped it dry with a paper towel. However, the price is high, hence the reason I gave a 4 star rating instead of 5.

Look no further these Kenyon electric Grills will get it done just like you were eating a steak right out of an open flame grill. They have a water pan right underneath the crates. Feel it with a little water. Cook it and the meat comes of so moist and juicy. This G2 grill does a outstanding job on all foods. Steaks, Pork Chops, Chicken, Fish, Shrimp. Everything you put it on it cooks it to its top. These grills are safe to use inside your kitchen but I will have to warn you if your cooking things that have a lot of fat on them like Steak or Burgers it will definitely create quite a bit of smoke so make your you have your windows open were the smoke can air out.
