Dorman 742-300 Power Window Motor Compatible with Select Chrysler/Dodge/Plymouth Models

It was the right motor but, the wire connector wires needed to be reversed in order to have the door button work in sequence with the "up" and "down" positions (as in up makes the window go up and down makes the window go down). Without cutting and reversing the wires, the button will be out of sync with the window direction (up vs. down). This is something that I discovered strictly by trial.

Once installed, it operates the window perfectly. However,to fit a 1971 Dodge Challenger Convertible rear window you'll need get 3 longer bolts w/nuts because this motor is not threaded like the OEM motor. In addition, I had to shim the motor slightly away from the mounting point with 3 flat washers to get proper gear engagement. Electrical connector fit perfect.

does not fit dodge 81-93 trucks and ramchargers. I tried to use it on two different styles. these window motors do not fit dodge trucks or ramchargers.

It doesnt Fit my 1987 Dodge Diplomat as instructed. I didnt fit test until after the return period since im doing a full rebuild of my car and unfortunately I have seemed to wasted money on Left and Right motors x2 of each.

Did not fit correctly. I had to buy a cardone replacement that actually worked. I used this doorman about five times before it had to be replaced
