You should not load more than 5 cards inside the device or they will jam. You can easily store less than 5, and they will not fall out. It holds the cards very well. I've managed to fit a pretty big wad of cash in the front pocket.The pop-up switch works smoothly. The cards always pop up in a cascading stack. I would easily buy this again if it broke or if I lost it.The only negative is that it can't hold laminated cards that are bigger than typical credit cards, not even in the front pocket.
