Used this to fix our gate at work. Seems to be holding so far!

A pair of the wheels were installed on a DIY automatic gate I designed over 20 years ago. The photos show the new wheels, with a prominent grease fitting. You will use a dozen squirts of grease to fill these hubs the first time, so prepare a fresh tube of grease just in case. As advertised, the U-bolts are double the original ones I had available and was using for over twenty years. These cast wheels take about a week to wear in, and the gate seems more stable as it traverses the track. Included is a picture of the pressed steel wheels which were replaced. These wear terribly, and there is a lot of slop after only 6 months. You can see the hub is dirty from where I oiled it, but no matter how many times you oil these old wheels, the weather destoys them after only 6-9 months.The only negative is the length of the threads on theses U-bolts. It was necessary to use my old U-bolts because the threads were not cut long enough to tighten against my gate properly. I was able to use several washers to shim the nuts against the U-bolts on 2 of the new U-bolts, so I didn't knock off a star for the product.Other than purchasing some flat washers and a tube of grease, you should be able to install these alone in an hour or so.Overall, I am glad I installed these and will seriously consider them if I upgrade to a heavier gate.

Heavy duty quality made way better than the ones my fence came with when they installed. One of those already broke looking side-by-side you can say this thing is way thicker. I don’t think it’ll be breaking anytime soon would buy one again.
