Oprah of the coin world
I feel like Oprah at the car boot. They tell me a price and I am flinging coins out this thing like' you get a pound...'you get paid for this stuff' It is very cheap and plastic but customisable with a few stickers. Handy item for sure.

Good product for very reasonable cost
If you are looking for a top quality gold/metal coin holder, then you'll be disappointed. HOWEVER if you want something that WILL hold the new £1.00 coins and can go in the car for those awkward parking moments, then this is the one for you. Its gold plastic but it will do the job perfectly well. Only had it a day so not sure if the gold will come off or not after use, but then as its for the car, who cares. PLUS you get two for a good price. I got one for my vegetarian girlfriend as this one doesn't have any leather (or maybe fake leather??) around it. She likes it. Spring works well. It will hold 16 x coins. Also my old "non new £1.00 coin holder" is good for .20p coins now! Nothing like recycling!!Would highly recommend

Pretty decent
Not as sturdy as I thought it'd be but does the job and may even order more

Works well, much admired
This is very helpful for finding the pound coins in a very full coin purse. I have had several people ask me where I got it from.

Horrible gold plastic coating peels off, so cover with electrical tape and you get a bargain new shape pound coin holder
I was looking for a 'tube-stash' to hold the new shape pound coins securely and out of sight in the van. I opted for these as they were relatively cheap at a fiver for the pair, especially when compared to some of the frankly silly prices being asked by some vendors for variations of the exact same thing. The negatives first: the quality of the finish on these things is laughably bad. The 'gold' coating was already scratched and coming away from the thin plastic body when the item arrived. It wouldn't last five minutes in your pocket, bag or pretty much anywhere other than a sealed environment behind glass. The positives: functionality is great, the new pound coins fit perfectly and you can get 15 of them in each tube. Actually, you can squeeze 16 in but given the cheapness of the manufacture I wouldn't want to put to much pressure on the spring mechanism. As you can see from the photos I've uploaded, the poor finish is easily dealt with by wrapping the tubes in insulation tape which you can get six rolls of for a £1 from the high street. Not only does this make the tubes look better, but feel much sturdier in the hand.

Just arrived today.
Very good value 2 for £6 had so many loose coins in my purse I easily filled too & more convenient for carry about now either in my pocket or handbag. Husbands even after pinching 1 to use BUT OBS with his own change.

Ordered gilt finish items. Learner covered supplied.
Wrong product supplied. Arrived four days late. Ordered ‘gilt’ - leather covered delivered.Item supplied not returned - easier and quicker to retain.Works well and will contain about £15.
