It prints a large number of pages before having to change out the printer cartridge.
It prints fast for a small business. It connects to wifi very easyly. If you need usb connection, you will need the proper cable which does not come with the unit.

Amazon and HP did not inform OBSOLESCENCE of System 7
I needed to replace a failed HP inkjet printer and chose HP LaserJet Pro MFP 3101fdwe. System 7 was specified as supported and compatible on Amazon. I bought the printer in January 2023. Looking closer after receipt, I found out HP had discontinued support for Windows System 7 in November 2022 and Amazon didnt provide this advice to potential customers. So if I have a problem down the line there is no support. Moreover, I have owned 2 HP pcs (sys 7) and 2 HP printers for years. You would think HP would make discontinuation notices to me directly from my registrations and through Amazon to maintain accurate specifications online. Very disappointed in Amazon and HP.

HP now forces you to do some stupid activation to even use the printer. All I want is to connect this thing to WiFi and install the driver like a normal printer. I don't want any of this HP+ garbage. Bad, HP, BAD!

Want to pay for a printer that you don't own?
Then get this! You need to setup an account and an active internet connection to use it.... seriously, what a joke!I'm sure this is collecting data on your network and sending it right back to HP (like all modern devices). Cloud printing is not a requirement to locally print a document, there is no reason this printer shouldn't function without and internet connection!Stay away from this if you feel like paying good money for an item entitles you to own the item. If you wanna collect my data sell the printer for over half off. I personally don't want the privacy and security risks on my network or any of my families networks.
