Can’t stress enough how good this is. Drilled hole in my bathroom wall to fit fan extractor. I have an old house with solid bricks and this went right through. It’s a really good buy, good quality and outstanding value for money. Cheaper than anywhere else I could find.

First use cut 270mm hole through brick and cinderblock wall, easy to use and fairly quick. Works fine in a standard 1100w drill.

I've only used the largest 110mm/ 4" core, which cut through a twin leaf block/cavity wall for extractor fan. I am not ecperienced using these, but gave it its time at fairly low revs and minimal pressure allowed to cool every couple mins. Was about 10 mins a leaf. Only issue is the spindle is now welded to the piece so cannot dismantle after. Wish I'd had some idea this might happen I'd have applied some copper grease to the threads. I've shattered my bench vice and bent the metal bar I was using to try and turn it off, despite applying WD40. So it won't go back in the case, but it will certainly do another few holes before blunting. I can always use the SDS spindle for the smaller bits, unless I think of any other plan like blowtorch to release.

Cut through cinder block in seconds through cavity into concrete block using a triton sds drill which was the weak link overheated a bit. Had to finish the last inch or so 20ft up a ladder on gable end, not recommended. In a sensible situation on the ground even with the cheap sds would do it in less than 10mins. Highly recommended.

Excellent core bit set. Only used the big one a few times but comparable with the big names. Made easy work of a 1930’s exterior wall (block, brick and render). Recommend.

I've only used the 117mm big fella from this kit and oh boy did it work well. Through Accrington brick (one of the densest red bricks on earth) without a hitch.I even used it via the SDS adaptor (not recommended in the instructions) with a low quality SDS drill as I don't own a core drill, still had no issues at all!

Despite the fact the drill came rusty it does a good job.
