The media could not be loaded. Very interesting little pets. My child loves them. But they were discounted shortly after purchase. At first, we didn't know why a batch died so quickly, leaving only one. My child analyzed that it might be because we accidently didn't initially pour all the water purifier into the water. Or another reason, we didn't pump in enough oxygen. We thought it was a failure because only one survived, and it seemed impossible for it to reproduce. Later, my son did some research and saw in a video mentioned that seller also added some eggs to the water purifier, so he added the remaining bit of water purifier, and some sea monkey babies appeared. The seller didn't mention this in the manual. Writing here to help others like us.

American crap not worth the money

I set everything up as described. Waited and waited and waited.. I only had one sea monkey. Out of all the thousands of eggs that were in the packet, ONE! I know there can't be any guarantees, but to just get one is terrible. On the plus side, he had plenty of room as he had the whole aquarium to himself. It's definitely a money making gimmick and not worth the time and effort you have to put in to get it started.

I’ve used sea monkeys before and never had a problem but for some reason none of the eggs hatched with this one - bit of a shame really
