Reliably white and works every time.
A massive improvement on my previous white pen which was temperamental at best. Works every time, nice and slim and a good white. Occasionally I have go over something twice, but this is such an improvement on my last pen that it doesn't bother me at all.I will definitely by more Sakura pens in the future.

Pretty good
Bought to use for detailed highlights for artwork. Pretty much what I expected. Ink is very white comes out easily smooth and looks good on pen pencil and coloured pencil work. Only reason I deducted a star is because I found I be ed to go back over it sometimes as first coat often not bright enough, especially on larger or darker areas, not that it’s an issue and a couple of coats does the job great. Would recommend mainly for small detail/highlight

cardmaking must have for making stitching and polka dot effects
I have used various different white gel pens and this one is by far the best. The ink comes out easily and the medium nib means that it is also convenient for using in card-making to make the effect of snow or dots. It is also works well with alcohol ink pens and shows up bright white against dark colours such as black or red. This pen lasts ages and the only reason I am buying another one is that I have misplaced my last one. It never gets dry and if it does seem slow to come out I usually just roll in between the palms of my hands and then it warms up and works well. I can honestly say it is one craft item I probably use more than any other and use it to make a stitching effect and polka dots on gift cards and tags.

Amazing pen!!!
I draw anime/manga and needed a white pen to use as a highlight colour for eyes and hair, etc. They work a treat, absolutely perfect for my art work! The white colour doesn't fade at all. Would definitely recommend these for anyone for any kind of work or writing!

It’s no Prismacolor
First time trying Sakura pens. Overall the pen is good but not as smooth as my Prismacolor pens.

Good Pen
This Gelly Roll Pen is far better than the other makes of pen that I have used. I have used a white liquid type of ink which leaves a bare space in the middle and white lines on the outside. It's like looking at tram lines. As you draw a straight line, the Gelly Roll covers the line.

Not up to expectations
The pen itself is not super pigmented and as it was brought as an art pen to add in highlights in eyes and hair, i had high hopes, however the colour was not white at all and you could often see the colour underneath it. I had high hopes for this pen after seeing youtube artists use it, but i must admit it is not up to the quality i was expecting and not for me.

Best highlighter so far
I am a professional animal portrait artist working mostly in coloured pencils for more years than I care to admit ... and these are the best I have found so far. Covers reasonably well but needs patience and a steady hand to keep going over the same line. Do not press as you would with a pen - more as a gentle stroke. Be prepared to keep cleaning the tip on a scrap of paper in between strokes. A good size for cat’s whiskers but you will need a smaller pen size for animal fur.
