Decent size pack

Look pretty
I bought these for adding to soaps and bath bombs and they are perfect for that. They have a nice colour. I expected a rose scent too but they don’t have much. That doesn’t matter too much to me as I add rose oil to the products which gives plenty of scent. It would have been nice to try rose petal tea or use them in baking but as the packaging says they may be cross contaminated with gluten or milk products I can’t (I’m coeliac and dairy intolerant), so I am not able to rate them for flavour.

Best value smell gorgeous, potion kit
Best value for quantity I could find without buying an absolute ton.I personally purchased them to form part of a 'potions' kit to keep my five year old happy, but they would work perfectly on top of a cake or as confetti. Fragrant as well so imagine they could be used to make tea.Bag is resealable and will likely reuse it when these run out, though that will probably take some time.

Not pleasant to eat
I usually rate WholeEarth products highly, but I was disappointed with these rose petals – perhaps I expected too much... Whilst they are not expensive and come with ecological credentials you'd expect from WholeEarth, the product wasn't actually very nice to eat. We had a Persian evening with friends and so rose petals were necessary to strew liberally over cakes, rice and other dishes. But in fact they spoilt the dish by being chewy, tasteless and getting in one's teeth! They did look beautiful though. They'd be perfect for wedding confetti, but not so good for culinary purposes!
