It's mechanical and contains no electronic or computer components
Looking at the package on the net and even the outer packaging when it arrived the words "smart" and "Robot" give the impression that there is some sort of "computer" or other logic-circuits in this toy. However it is completely mechanical.It is a smart mechanical device there the is an electric motor inside a ball that makes the toy move. When it it obstructed by something the ball continues to rotate by sliding on the floor and due to the weight of the motor inside it then changes direction.15 minutes of fun ... maybe.

A great toy to enjoy
I have purchased two of these before and they have given great pleasure to the grandchildren that received them in both the constructing and the using.

JUNK ROBOT
5 mins to put to gether and the kids hated it with in 2 mins, Very flimsy, Consists of a ball with an electric motor in it (yes thats it). You can buy similar to this from any pet shop for your dog to chase around the house. The worst thing is you have to dismantle it to turn it on/off by removing all the screws (very small and fiddly) and battery as there is no switch. I give it 0/10. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY, Buy your loved one some flowers instead. Or better still have a couple of pints at you local pub.

Fabulous robot, my 9 year old made it unaided and it works great. Fun to watch and great addition to his robot collection
