Heavy Duty Folding Compact Fishing Trolley, Seat Box, Equipment Barrow

As a pensioner returning to fishing, I found I needed help with transporting my fishing kit. For the amount of kit I have this trolley has proved ideal. It runs well, easy to use and stable.

Arrived 2 day’s early this is a tough trolley with slightly bigger platform than most getting the axle through required a wooden mallet as it is a good tight fit but not a problem however one of the nuts holding the wheel on had no thread I got one from a local hardware store problem solved it comes with 2 tie down straps and so far very stable

Arrived in good time, packaging intact. Not used it in anger yet, but hopefully will make it easier for me to lug my gear down to lake. Assembled easy enough with a pair of adjustable spanners to lock the wheels in place being careful not to tighten too much and prevent the wheels from turning. One problem is the extending handle came off first time it was extended. The 2 plastic stops/locks need to be attached more firmly with a small screw or some araldite. The locking tabs also don't work, they are obviously designed for a smaller diameter pipe and cannot be pushed all the way in to lock.

Unfortunately due to my own last minute planning, I needed this trolley and couldn't return it. If I'd had the opportunity i would have returned it.Taking it out of the box, it was clear where the paint had been applied to the frame had come into contact with something. There were patches that were not covered by paint, and other bits were flaky / scratched. In wet conditions it will likely rust at these locations.On assembly, I noted that the nuts for the Axle are not the same thread design as the threading on the axle. This means that the nuts do not tighten properly, making assembly very tricky.One final note is that the extendible handle is very flimsy, so beware if you plan on carrying any kind of heavy load on the trolley.Plus points:Air tyres worked wellHandle is comfortable to holdAll in all, if it were better manufactured, I'd recommend, however as it stands I'd say avoid and look for a different model.

Bought as a gift for fishing enthusiast. He was very pleased. Seemed weighty and well made.

Despite negative reviews, this trolley is more than worth the money. Well made, good quality, robust and so much cheaper than other alternatives. Only issue was the supplied spanner didn't fit the wheel nuts but no problem as all households have a spanner. Once again - well worth the money - very pleased.
